Dear HG,

I cannot wait to get my hands on your new dessert cookbook!!! Is there still time to get in on the free-VitaTop offer? And can you give me a sneak peek inside the book?

Dessert Me!

Hi, Dessert Me!

I can't wait until Hungry Girl 200 Under 200 Just Desserts is officially released either -- just six days to go! You can order it now -- in fact, our sale page is PACKED with some amazing deals (up to FORTY percent off!). Our "Buy 2 Copies of 200 Under 200 Just Desserts, Get Coupons for 2 Free Boxes of VitaTops!" promo expires 5/12/13. I think this is one of our BEST-EVER promotions. Go in with a pal, and you'll each get a free box of VitaTops (perfect for making whoopie pies!) and a set of two exclusive recipe cards. Or buy two copies on your own... They make great gifts!

In addition to 200 incredible dessert recipes (with NO REPEATS from other HG books!), this book has dozens of gorgeous color photos, plus amazing features that make it easy to find just the right recipe. Flip to the back of the book to find desserts by flavor (red velvet, caramel, peanut butter, chocolate, etc.) or by category (desserts for one, 5 ingredients or less, and more)! And if you're watching your sugar intake (and prefer sugar alternatives) OR if you would rather not use Splenda (and prefer sugar), you'll be happy to know that nearly every recipe that calls for one can be made with the other -- the stats are given for BOTH!

As for a sneak peek... CLICK HERE to check out the 200 Under 200 Just Desserts section of the HG book site! Here you can see ALL of the chapter names, recipe names, recipe photos, and nutritional info, including the PointsPlus® values*. Peruse chapters like Cake Pops, Brownies & Fudge, and Fruity Fun! There's so much to see, so GET CLICKIN'!

Remember, you can shop around for great deals on our book site and order the book right now. To help me kick off the book launch in person, check out the tour page to see if there's a book-signing event in your area. (These events are mostly on the East Coast.) The tour is packed with free treats, big prizes, and more -- SO MUCH FUN! Hope to see you soon!

Dear HG,

I want to get my kids excited about eating better. Do you have any kid-friendly recipes? How about some that are fun to make?

Hungry Mom

Hi Hungry Mom,

Getting kids to eat smart can be difficult, but I've got some recipes for kid-friendly foods that they'll gobble right up...

Wacky Tacos - Kids love tacos, and these recipes are really fun and unique. There's the iHungry Spaghetti Tacos (a la iCarly!), B-fast Waffle Tacos (yup, WAFFLE TACOS!), and Cheeseburger Tacos (what kid wouldn't love these?).

Creative Casseroles - This email features two super-inventive and super-delicious casserole recipes: one loaded with tater tots, and one overflowing with hot dogs! And my Bacon Cheeseburger Casserole has kid-friendly written all over it.

Mac 'n Cheese Mania - Here's a recipe that combines classic blue-box mac 'n cheese with butternut squash. And check out this crock-pot cheesy mac with ground turkey and steamed cauliflower! Your kiddos won't detect the veggies in either one of these dishes.

Chicken a la Fun - Ordinary chicken is boring. Zazzle it up with kid-approved flavors! There's Pizza-fied Chicken, Nacho-rific Stuffed Chicken, Ranch-O Bacon Chicken, Honey Mustard Pretzel-Coated Chicken Fingers... You get the idea!

Burgers, Burgers, Everywhere - In addition to the burger-y recipes already mentioned, check these out. The Cheeseburger-Stuffed Mushrooms are an amazing way to get kids to eat their veggies, and the Cheeseburger Fillo Bites are a fun little snack that kids will love!

Krispymallow Madness - Whether your kids like chocolate, candy corn, or classic marshmallow treats, these gooey cereal goodies are a smart way to do sweets. And they're a lot of fun to make in the kitchen!

By the way, Hungry Girl 200 Under 200 Just Desserts has an entire chapter of CAKE POPS, which are great for kids to help assemble. (Cake pops are cool!) And, of course, they'll also love eating them.
