It's finally happening: Starting May 5th, calorie labelling will officially be required
on menus and menu boards at chain restaurants with 20 or more locations nationwide. Most vending machines (operated by companies with 20 or more units) are already required to display calorie counts for their packaged foods, but some glass-front units have until next summer to comply.
