Could larger serving sizes on packaging reduce unhealthy eating?

After the US Food & Drug Administration announced it was considering increasing the serving sizes on nutrition labels, a group of researchers conducted a study to explore this very question. And from what they found, it just might work! By seeing the larger amounts of unhealthy nutrients found in more realistic serving sizes, study participants were more likely to view certain foods as less healthy and consume less of those foods. Knowledge is power...



Exercise = cancer protection?

This isn't a Race for the Cure -- this is an everyday change you can make to fight disease now. A recent study found that exercise could decrease the incidence of cancer and slow the growth rate of tumors.
