Spotted on Shelves... Target Edition!

Archer Farms Buffalo-Style Chicken Dip

2 tbsp.: 60 calories, 5g total fat (2g sat fat), 270mg sodium, 1g carbs, 0g fiber, <1g sugars, 3g protein -- SmartPoints® value 2*

We make a pretty mean (and lean) Buffalo chicken dip ourselves, but sometimes we want a no-effort wing fix. So we were pleasantly surprised to discover that Target's ready-made version is both delicious AND has great stats! Grab some baby carrots, and you've got a tasty no-prep snack. Find it in the refrigerated case, near the hummus and guacamole. P.S. We love it warmed up...

Simply Balanced Salted Edamame Freeze Dried Vegetables

1/2 cup: 120 calories, 5g total fat (1g sat fat), 220mg sodium, 8g carbs, 4g fiber, 2g sugars, 12g protein -- SmartPoints® value 3*

Have you hopped on the crunchy bean bandwagon? (Climb aboard; there’s plenty of room!) Crispy bean snacks are such a great alternative to chips, since they're full of fiber and protein. These freeze-dried beans are the perfect combo of crunchy and airy... So good! P.S. We love that the bag is resealable... unlike some multi-serving snacks. (We’re not naming names!)

Market Pantry Fully Cooked Turkey Meatballs

6 meatballs: 170 calories, 8g total fat (2g sat fat), 410mg sodium, 7g carbs, 2g fiber, 1g sugars, 16g protein -- SmartPoints® value 4*

We can't get enough heat & eat protein in our lives, so we're clearing a spot in our freezer for these meatballs. Simple, versatile, and full of delicious flavor. Pair ‘em with spiralized zucchini and marinara, toss them into a veggie stir-fry, or just dip them into your favorite sauce, nugget style! Such a great staple to keep on hand for last-minute meals.

Chew on this:

Today, June 4th, is National Cheese Day. One batch of slow-cooker mac & cheese, coming right up!
