Health Valley Organic No Salt Added and 40% Less Sodium Chili - Our buddies at Health Valley have given their products a makeover: new packaging, new varieties, and more! We're most stoked about this line of canned vegetarian chili. For the mild child, there's No Salt Added Tame Tomato; for the more adventurous, there's 40% Less Sodium Black Bean Mango. WOW! Each 1-cup serving has 190 - 210 calories, 2.5 - 3g fat, 70 - 470mg sodium, 36 - 41g carbs, 7 - 9g fiber, 7 - 11g sugars, and 9 - 11g protein (PointsPlus® value 5*). A can has about 2 servings, so if you eat a full can as a meal, double the numbers!

YoCrunch 100 Calorie Packs - Not super-new, but SO worth chatting about. These petite yogurt 'n crunch combos are way cute and great when you need a little something to take the edge off your hunger. They're sweetened with a mix of stevia and sugar, so the stats are impressive and they taste delicious! Each container has 100 calories, 0 - 2g fat, 50 - 75mg sodium, 19 - 21g carbs, 0 - 1g fiber, 13 - 15g sugars, and 3g protein (PointsPlus® value 2 - 3*).

I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spray - Enjoy the classic ICBINB spray, but looking for a bit of a twist on the original? Grab this new spritzable item! Each 5-spray serving has 0 calories, 0g fat, 15mg sodium, 0g carbs, 0g fiber, 0g sugars, and 0g protein (PointsPlus® value 0*). We think a bit of this with a sprinkle each of garlic powder and Italian seasoning would kick your favorite food up a delicious notch. Just remember that while a serving is considered calorie-free, it does contain some calories...

Healthy Menu Options: Are YOU Ordering Them?

When it comes to restaurant meals, HGers know that a) there are a lot of calorically questionable menu items out there, but b) lighter options are popping up everywhere. However, recent studies have indicated that people just plain aren't ordering the better-for-you foods that places have been offering. A Consumer Reports survey found that only 13 percent of those surveyed ordered a healthy meal the last time they ate at a fast-food restaurant. According to another survey, only about 15 percent of New Yorkers even see and use the now-required calorie counts on menus. (The good news: Respondents who DID use the calorie info ordered food with about 100 fewer calories than those who didn't.) And when it comes to in-flight eating, things aren't any better. United Airlines ended up donating thousands of its high-protein, low-fat, and organic snack boxes to food banks after customers just weren't buying them, favoring more junk-food-like options instead. What's going on here? Is this just a "change takes time" situation, or do you think people generally don't care about what they eat? Weigh in on Facebook -- let's chat about this, people! If we don't order the healthy menu items, they could become a thing of the past (eeeks!)...
