This is good, honest snack food right here. Nothing schmancy or trendy -- just wholesome nuts, fruits, seeds, and snack mixes. We're TOTALLY into the Traveler Snack Sampler -- an assortment of 15 personal-sized packages, perfect for throwing into your purse, briefcase, or lunchbox. (Some packages DO have more than one serving, so read labels carefully.) If you're into strictly single-serving stuff, check out the Nuts 'N' Fruit 5-pack of 1-oz. packages. Heads up: Some of the company's pistachios were involved in the recent recall, but no potentially tainted nuts will be sent out. Instead of pistachios, the sampler pack will feature dried persimmons. (Yum! Those are fat-free with 90 calories per oz. and a POINTS® value of 2*.) BTW, the company's got a school fundraising program that promotes healthy eating for kids. Look for this stuff in select southern CA stores or order online nationwide. Bonus! Order online before 5/31/09, and save 20% on ANY product -- at checkout, just enter customer code: hungry. You'll also get a free single-serving bag of trail mix with that code. Woohoo!
For those of you who are constantly in a hurry and bemoaning the questionable stuff found in other frozen meals, dinner (or lunch) is served! This company prides itself on providing nutritious food that tastes great. AND, for you salt-watchers out there, these meals have impressively low sodium stats (for pre-made frozen dinners). We've tried a slew of them, and they are really good, wholesome, and worth seeking out. Click here to order some online and here to find out where they're sold near you.

When we first heard that someone had put our beloved butternut squash into KETCHUP, we thought it had to be a joke. But it's actually true. Krazy Ketchup is organic, made with veggies, sweetened with agave nectar, AND it comes in a recyclable bottle. WOWOWOW. And the best part? It totally tastes like regular ketchup. So if you're into super-natural stuff (super-natural as in healthy, not supernatural as in Heroes), click here to see where to buy it or here to get it online. BTW, Heinz also makes a good organic ketchup.
These days, all-natural foods are a pretty big draw, and convenient kinds are even better. That's probably why the folks at Healthy Choice are giving Lean Cuisine a run for its money with these all-natural meals, some of which are eerily close to the ones LC is dishing out. Verrrry sneaky. We've tried a bunch, and they're FANTASTIC (but not super-low in sodium). Everyone's FREAKING over the Pumpkin Squash Ravioli. Also try the Sweet Asian Potstickers, Mediterranean Pasta, Portabella Marsala Pasta, Portabella Spinach Parmesan, and Tomato Basil Penne.
