Nature's Path Honey'd Raisin Bran |
Bran-tastic! |
We hate to admit it, but we love granola. Mmmmm. So crunchy. So good. Sooooo fattening. That's why we did a happy dance when we discovered this crunchy raisin bran as a granola swap. Drenched in honey and packed with chewy raisins, it's hard to believe this stuff is so low in fat. This cereal is great swimming in light vanilla soy milk, or you can even eat it plain and dry. Toss some in a ziploc bag for a perfect portable snack. Well done, Nature's Path!

"Granola" is one of those words that brings to mind images of health, dieting and natural foods. Yeah, granola is natural...naturally high in carbs, fat and calories! Want proof? A 3/4 cup serving of Quaker 100% Natural Granola with Oats, Honey & Raisins has 345 calories, 12 grams of fat and over 50 carbs! In less than a cup! And that's before you add the milk. You may as well be enjoying a giant donut, a scone or a huge, doughy bagel! Give up on on this granola. It's for the birds. FAT birds.
