Cary's Sugar Free Syrup |
|
Cary Me Back! |

You may be able to eat a salad without dressing, or a sandwich without the mayo, but can you really have pancakes without the syrup? Of course not. And you don't have to! The lovely people at Cary's have concocted an awesome sugar free maple syrup. Each serving of the sweet (but not too sweet) syrup adds only 30 measly calories to your meal. Yay! While it still isn't a great idea to have pancakes every day (more proof that life isn't fair), if you opt for Cary's Sugar Free Syrup when you do have them, they'll do a lot less damage to your diet. Hungry Girl Tips: 1) Use light butter! A tiny pat of the regular stuff will add around 100 calories to your pancakes! 2) If you find yourself at IHOP request sugar free syrup for your pancakes. Many IHOP locations carry Cary's!! |

Eggo's Original Syrup |

Eggo Maniacs! |

Pancakes are comforting and satisfying. Unfortunately, while pancakes themselves may be 'flat as a pancake', if you eat too many of them, your belly probably won't be. Don't panic! That doesn't mean you should never have pancakes again. After all, who wants to face a pancake-free future??? When you do splurge on pancakes, though, the last thing you want to do is cover your already high-cal meal with fatty syrup. One you should avoid like the plague is Eggo's Original Syrup. This ooey, gooey syrup screw-up has an incredible 240 calories and 40 grams of sugar per serving!!! Ewww. Our advice? Leggo this eggo, stick to sugar free syrups and shave over 200 calories from your flapjack fiesta. |
