PEZ ON EARTH!

 
We're proud to admit that there are a few Pez dispensers floating around the Hungry Girl offices.  Who can refuse candy from Snoopy or Kermit?  Not us.  And there's no need to avoid the uniquely flavored nuggets that pop out of the necks of America's most beloved characters.  An entire roll of Pez has just 35 calories, 9 carbs and absolutely no fat at all.  If you're a sugar-avoider, there's  Sugar Free Pez, and it has 30 calories per roll. Sugar Free Pez? We haven't been this excited since we found Sugar Free Pop Rocks!
 
'RING IT ON!
 
Who needs platinum and diamonds when you can slip a sweet, sticky candylicious Ring Pop on your finger instead?  Not only does the sweet and fruity "gem pop" cost less, sucking on this "rock" (which comes in flavors like Watermelon, Green Apple, Blue Raspberry, Rainbow Sherbet and Cherry) will add just 70 calories, 14 carbs and no fat to your day's intake.  Quite a deal, huh? 
 
WHO'S YOUR DADDY?

We LOVE a Sugar Daddy every now and then. It's a cross between a lollipop and the best-ever caramel candy!  And for as good as this thing is, it's not all that awful for you.  It comes in two sizes, but you are definitely better off with the jr. version.  That one has  just 53 calories, less than 1g of fat and 11.5 carbs.  Go, Daddy!

HEY, TOOTS!

Tootsie Rolls are fantastic.  Why deny it?  They're insanely chocolatey, chewy and delicious -- and they're not horrendous in the calorie or fat department either.  Our faves are the mini midgees.  You can have 12 of 'em for just 130 calories, 3.5g fat and 26 carbs.  That's a lot better than breaking down and having a full fat chocolate bar!

STIX 'N STONES
We've always been fascinated with Pixy Stix.  There's something utterly fun about pouring flavored sugar down your gullet.  Granted, we do this about once a DECADE, but you should know that 7 of these "straws" have just 60 calories, 14 carbs and no fat.  And honestly, who can eat 7 of those things?  Maybe one or two.  But SEVEN?  If you feel like being a kid again, go for it!
CHEW ON THIS:
Today, February 25th, is National Chocolate Covered Peanuts Day.  A regular size box of Goobers has 210 calories, 13g fat, 19 carbs and 3g fiber.  Don't even think about downing one of those King Size Movie boxes!
