Hungry Girl chewed FIVE Frozen pizzas...and now we're telling ALL!
Pizza Fit 'N Free

(1 pizza -198g:  252 Calories, 0g Fat, 845mg Sodium, 43g Carbs, 3g Fiber, 0g Sugar, 19g Protein)

Holy Cheese!  Check out the nutritionals on this pizza.  They're INSANE!  First off, there are 198g in a serving, which is more than any of the other pizzas we tried.  This one also has no fat, and has 3g of fiber.  Whoa!  Is this pizza too good to be true?  Well, that depends on who you ask.  We LOVE it.  But some people find it a little bland, and if you're expecting a ton of gooey, oily cheese, you may be disappointed.  If you like fat free cheese, though, and want a nice size pizza that you can load up with turkey pepperoni, chicken or veggies -- and still enjoy guilt-free, this is your dream pie!  Overall, this pizza scored an impressive 8!

Bottom Line:  WE HEART PIZZA FIT 'N FREE!

*Available online only at pizzafree.com

Smart Ones Four Cheese Pizza

(1 pizza - 170g: 330 Calories, 8g Fat, 49g Carbs, 720mg Sodium, 3g Fiber, 8g Sugar, 16g Protein)

If we're being honest, this pizza isn't great.  It's not bad, but its not great either.  We were slightly disappointed when the pizza didn't look anything like it does on the box.  The cheese was more like clumps of parmesan, than the melty, delicious-looking mozzarella on the package.  While the taste wasn't bad (the crust is light and airy, and the sauce is good), we still think it's not worth the 330 calories and 8g of fat it packs in.  Sorry, overall this pizza scored a disappointing 6.

Bottom Line:  NOT WORTH IT.

*Available at most supermarkets.

Stouffer's Lean Cuisine Cafe Classics Margherita Pizza

(1 pizza - 170g: 320 Calories, 9g Fat, 48g Carbs, 540mg Sodium, 4g Fiber, 5g Sugar, 14g Protein)

We were alarmed at the fact that this pizza is "microwave only."  That's just bizarre.  Everyone knows that pizza (or any crispy food) turns out much better if cooked in a conventional or toaster oven.  This particular pizza comes in a box that folds into some sort of contraption that's supposed to make your pizza all crunchy, but it doesn't work so well.  In any case, this pizza is topped with chunks of fresh tomatoes and onions, which make it taste great.  (We're sure the 9g of fat it packs in doesn't hurt either.)  Aside from the disappointing clearly-nuked crust, this pizza rocks.  It scored a 7.

Bottom Line:  WE'D BUY IT AGAIN, BUT MICROWAVE PIZZA IS FOR THE BIRDS.

*Available at most supermarkets.

Heaven's Bistro Three Cheese Pizza

(1/3 pizza - 123g: 240 Calories, 2g Fat, 42g Carbs, 630mg Sodium, 4g Fiber, 3g Sugars, 13g Protein)

There are definite pros and cons when it comes to Heavens Bistro Pizza.  It tastes GREAT, and it's VERY low in fat.  (Those are pros, in case you were wondering.)  Now the cons;  the serving size isn't big enough, so you may end up eating two times the amount of calories you were supposed to.  And the pizza isn't large, it's just, um, very high and puffy.  There is WAY too much bread/crust action going on here!  We still like Heaven's Bistro a lot, but we were bigger fans back when there wasn't so much pizza competition out there.  Overall score? 7.5.

Bottom Line:  OH HEAVEN'S BISTRO, BE OUR NEW BEST FRIEND AND MAKE A THIN CRUST VERSION!

*Available at Trader Joe's, Kroger, Piggly Wiggly & online.

Healthy Choice French Bread Pizza

(1 pizza - 170g: 340 Calories, 5g Fat, 51g Carbs, 600mg Sodium, 5g Fiber, 8g Sugar, 22g Protein)

Healthy Choice's French Bread Pizza may be the best-tasting of all the pizzas we tried.  The sauce is a little sweet (we LOVE that), and the cheese is good.  The french bread is crusty and crispy on the outside, and soft in the middle.  It's also fairly low in fat, and has lots of fiber.  All good things.  It's a little high in calories, but we think it's worth it.  This pizza is a winner!  Overall score: 8.5.

Bottom Line: PIZZALICIOUS!

*Available at most supermarkets.

CHEW ON THIS:
Americans eat approximately 100 acres of pizza each day.  That breaks down to about 350 slices per second.  Yowsa!
