Don't be fooled! Just because a package of popcorn has words like, "Organic," "Smart," or "Fat-free" written on it, doesn't mean it's diet-friendly.  For example, one 5-cup serving of SmartFood popcorn has 235 calories and 10g of fat!   Not so smart.
 
POPCORN FIND!
 
Looking to add some zazzle to your nuked or air-popped corn?  Sprinkle some Kernel Season's on it!  These low calorie gourmet sprinklings come in 10 flavors, but we recommend sticking with the Parmesan & Garlic, Barbeque, White Cheddar or Apple Cinnamon.

HUNGRY GIRL HORROR!

We don't care how good it smells, you must resist buttery movie theater popcorn. If you give in and munch mindlessly on a medium bucket of movie theater popcorn, you'll be taking in approximately 1170 calories and 90 grams of fat. Yikes!

HUNGRY GIRL TIPS!

Spritz some "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" spray on your popcorn before seasoning it.  Your flavorings will be less likely to fall to the bottom of the bowl.

Sprinkle your popcorn w/ a tablespoon of parmesan cheese and you'll add just 25 or so calories to your snack.

Beware of tempting microwave popcorn flavors like Cinnabon, Marshmallow, Extra Butter & Honey Butter. They're high in fat.

Keep microwave popcorn in your office, and kill your afternoon crunch cravings with it (instead of with chips from the vending machine).
