Glenny's Spud Delites, Sour Cream & Onion |
SPUD LIGHT! |
Sour Cream & Onion Potato chips are delicious. We're not gonna lie. But these savory, salty potato-y things usually pack in enough fat for them to earn one of the tops spots on our "Just Say No" list. Enter Spud Delites. The brand new light & airy baked "potato crisps" have just 100 calories and 2g of fat per bag. Brought to us by the reigning kings of guilt-free crunchy delights, Glenny's, these potatolicious treats come in two other flavors -- BBQ & Sea Salt. Because they're so new, these snacks are pretty much only available online. But they're well worth the hassle. |

Pringles Potato Chips, Sour Cream & Onion |

CHIP OF FOOLS! |
We never really "got" the whole Pringles potato chip thing. Their reduced fat chips taste okay, but contain 7g of fat. And their fat free ones are made with Olestra. Ick. Even their regular full fat offerings are nothing special. Despite the neat and orderly placement inside that can (how do they do it?), they're simply not worth all the calories. We actually did a side by side taste test with these two chips and the Spud Delites won hands down. So skip the fat-filled Stepford-ish Pringles, and gobble up Glenny's 100 calorie alternative instead. |
