Quaker Quakes Rice Snacks - BBQ |
QUAKE IT UP |
Ever get that uncontrollable urge to chomp on something salty, BBQ-flavored & crispy? Before you pounce on those potato chips, give Quaker Quakes Rice Snacks a shot. Light, airy and bursting with flavor, these mini cakes are every bit as satisfying as their crunchy high-fat counterparts but they won't leave you feeling greasy or full. If BBQ isn't your style, try some of the other flavors. Truth be told, our absolute favorite thing about these munchies is that if you happen to inhale the entire 5 serving bag in one sitting (whoops!) you'll only have consumed 350 calories. Not great (or recommended!) but nothing 45 minutes on the elliptical trainer can't reverse. |

Pringles Sweet Mesquite BBQ Potato Crisps |
SINKING CHIP |
Pringles bug us. Why? For starters, they call themselves potato "crisps" not chips. And each "item" (be it a chip or a crisp) is identical to the next, and they line up, single file, in a cylindrical can. Ew! Ok, there's a small chance we're just lashing out at these reconstituted potato rounds because we know we shouldn't be eating them, but let's face it, these "Stepford" snacks are annoying. Even if you like the way they taste, you've gotta admit it's hard to justify eating FOUR times the fat and over TWICE as many calories of other more reasonable BBQ-flavored snacks (i.e. Quakes). |
