Breyer's Cal Smart Double Churned Ice Cream, Vanilla

(70 Calories, 3g Fat, 13 Carbs, 4g Fiber, 3g Protein)

Hard to believe we're picking a competitor to Dreyer's Grand Light as a food find of the month, but here's the deal:  This new "double churned" (yes a complete rip-off of "slow churned") ice cream may not taste quite as awesome as Dreyer's Grand Light, or come in as many fun 'n funky flavors, but it is SO low in calories and high in fiber that it makes an awesome addition to desserts.  Think about it.  With 4g of fiber per half cup, you can turn any regular old diet-friendly dessert into a fiber-fest!  If you count points, it's like a dream come true.  This magical ice cream is on the shelves of your local market right now.

Kim & Scott's Gourmet Pretzels, Mozzarella Pizza

(258 Calories, 6g Fat, 45 Carbs, 2g Fiber, 12g Protein)

We know big, doughy items are sort of unconventional guilt-free foods.  But we have a bigtime weakness for soft pretzels and we were thrilled to discover what Kim & Scott had to offer.  While they do have an array of all-natural oversized stuffed pretzels that are so good they'll make you cry, we found those to be not-so-friendly in the calories & fat department.  However, their new 3.5 oz. pretzels, now (or soon to be) available in select stores, are way more reasonable, with all four flavors (Apple Cinnamon, Mozzarella Pizza, Bavarian, & Sourdough Parmesan) coming in at roughly 250 calories and 5 points each.  Our fave is the Mozzarella Pizza, which, packed with 12g of protein and only 6g of fat is a lovely pizza lunch (we fill it out with a green salad).  Granted, it's not your typical diet-friendly meal, but change it up every now and then, willya?!   Hungry Girl Warning: Make sure you get the 3.5 oz. size that come in boxes of four.

Omega Foods, Salmon Burgers

(100 Calories, 2g Fat, 3 Carbs, 0g Fiber, 18g Protein)

We love Omega Foods.  They make AWESOME burgers out of fish.  And their salmon burgers will rock your seafood-lovin' world.  Each all-natural, light, simple to prepare patty has just 100 calories, 2g of fat and tastes so good, your regular hamburgers and soy burgers will be embarrassed to be on the same grill as them.  OK, maybe that's extreme, but these things are so good we needed to make a point.  Omega's fishtastic frozen friends can be found at Whole Foods, Wild Oats, some Costco locations, and various natural food and health food stores across the country.  They're worth poking around for.  Psssst...they also make a fantastic 64-calorie shrimp burger.

Dasani Water With Raspberry

(0 Calories, 0g Fat, 0 Carbs, 0g Fiber, 0g Protein)

Ok, water has to be pretty darn special if it's gonna be honored as one of Hungry Girl's monthly food finds.  Dasani's new Raspberry Flavored Water is that special.  Unlike some of the nauseatingly sweet, over-flavored, fake-tasting "waters" that are out there, this stuff actually tastes naturally flavored and very lightly sweetened.  Made with splenda (in case you're choosy about your calorie-free sweeteners), we recommend adding this yummy beverage to your regular rotation.  HG Tip: Don't use flavored waters as H2O replacements. They're not as good for your body as the real thing...but they are way better for you than most sodas and soft drinks.
