South Beach Diet has created a frozen pie with lots of taste, but only 290 calories and 10g of fat. Even better, each pizza is a virtual fiberfest, packing a whopping 14 grams into every serving! We've gone absolutely ga ga for South Beach's pepperoni pie. The sauce is sweet 'n zesty, the cheese melts nicely, and the crust is golden brown and wheaty. Mmmm. Fantastico! Deep dish pizza is soooo 80s. Not that we have to consider the "hipness" of our food before consuming it (we still enjoy TaB and let's face it, it's not exactly cutting edge), but who needs extra bread with that sauce and cheese? It's just a bad idea. So if you're thinking of heating up a frozen Red Baron deep dish pizza, STOP...you could be heading for deep trouble. Each catastrophic circle packs in an insane 450 calories and 22g of fat. Yikes! This thick pile of oily cheese topped with calorie-infested pepperoni is a greasy mess. If you're going to stick your face in a frozen pizza, don't microwave this so-so frozen version, grab a South Beach Diet pizza instead. You'll be just as satisfied, and your jeans won't be nearly as tight. |
