Nutritionals for the "Grande" 16oz. size:
Espresso Frappuccino Light Blended - 140 cal., 1g fat, 27 carbs, 3g fiber
Coffee Frappuccino Light Blended - 150 cal., 1g fat, 30 carbs, 3g fiber
Mocha Frappuccino Light Blended - 180 cal., 1.5g fat, 36 carbs, 4g fiber
Caramel Frappuccino Light Blended - 180 cal., 1.5g fat, 36 carbs, 3g fiber
Caffe Vanilla Frappuccino Light Blended - 230 cal., 1g fat, 49 carbs, 4g fiber
Java Chip Frappuccino Light Blended - 260 cal. 7g fat, 46 carbs, 5g fiber
We sampled the above and came to the following conclusions:
1. BEST BETS - Your best options are the Coffee and Espresso frappes. They taste GREAT, and are very low in fat & calories.
2. FEELING DECADENT? Without a doubt go for the Caramel or Mocha Light Frappuccinos. Both are AWESOME (even better than the higher-cal ones!) and they're also low in fat and calories.
3. JUST SAY NO! Take a pass on the Caffe Vanilla and Java Chip. The vanilla is not only higher in calories, it also has a really weird aftertaste. And the Java Chip, though delicious (probably because it has real chocolate bits throughout!), has 7g of fat and considerably more calories than the rest. Not worth it!
Way to go, Starbucks! And, um, It's about time...
