Krispymallow Treats

PER SERVING (1 square: 47 calories, <1g fat, 32mg sodium, 11g carbs, 2.5g fiber, 3g sugars, <1g protein = PointsPlus® value 1*)

A fiber-y new spin on an old childhood fave!

Ingredients:

3 tbsp. Smart Balance 37% Light Buttery Spread

3 cups miniature marshmallows

2 cups Fiber One Original bran cereal

5 cups Kashi 7 Whole Grain Puffs or puffed wheat cereal

 

Directions:

Melt butter spread in a large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.  Add both cereals. Stir until well coated. Using a spatula, press mixture evenly into a baking pan coated with nonstick cooking spray.  Allow to cool.  Cut into 25 squares.

 

Pumpkin Crunchers

(2 Crunchers: approx. 60 calories, <1g fat, 60mg sodium, 14g carbs, 4g fiber, 3g sugars, 1g protein = PointsPlus® value 2*)


Pumpkin, crunch and cream all in one bite...Mmmmmmm!

 

Ingredients:

7.5 oz. pure pumpkin (1/2 of a 15 oz. can)

1/2 container Cool Whip Free

2 Sugar Free Jell-O Pudding Snacks; Vanilla

3/4 cup Fiber One Original bran cereal

Cinnamon; to taste

Directions:

Combine pumpkin, Cool Whip and Jell-O in a bowl. Stir in Fiber One. Spoon into nonstick mini muffin tins and freeze. Makes 15 yummy "nuggets."

Ingredients:

No Pudge! Original Fudge Brownie Mix or other fat-free brownie mix

2/3 cup Comstock’s Original Light Cherry Pie Filling or other light cherry pie filling

1 cup Fiber One Original bran cereal

1/4 cup light vanilla soymilk

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a bowl, mix all of the ingredients together.   Place batter into muffin tins lined with paper or sprayed with nonstick spray. Bake for 20 minutes. Makes 12 muffins.
