Lean Cuisine's Three Cheese Stuffed Rigatoni |
Holy Moly, Ravioli! |
Don't be fooled by the name, people. This so-called "stuffed rigatoni" is really just ravioli with stripes. If you take rigatoni, fill it with cheese, and seal up the ends, what have you got? RAVIOLI! (See...we told you!) Crammed with romano, ricotta and mozzarella cheeses, this pasta is served with an awesome (and colorful!) assortment of veggies in a flavor-packed fire-roasted tomato sauce. It tastes as fresh and good as authentic restaurant ravÂ…and it has FAR fewer calories and fat grams. And FYI, today happens to be National Ravioli Day...so dig in! |

HG FYI: The Lean Cuisine folks say 4 Points, but our calculations show it's right on the line between 4 & 5 (and most people say to round up in this case). Your call -- it's a Points bargain, either way!

Macaroni Grill's Mushroom Ravioli |
Macaroni Meltdown |
Just utter the word "ravioli" at a Macaroni Grill location, and your jeans may immediately feel tighter (MG has got a ridiculous dessert ravioli with more than 1,600 calories and a lobster one with over a thousand!). Their plain ol' mushroom-stuffed pasta bites have an alarming 830 calories and 60 fat grams per order! So much for mushrooms being our healthy friends (those poor defenseless fungi!). And unfortunately, when it comes to our favorite cheese-stuffed pasta dish, MOST restaurant and supermarket versions contain astronomical nutritionals. You'd have to search long and hard to find one with numbers as low and taste as amazing as LC's Three Cheese Stuffed Rigatoni. So go on, get STUFFED! |
