There are tons of new items popping up on restaurant menus this time of year, but watch out! Some of the stats on these foods are horrendous. Consider yourself warned...   
Chili's - Texas Cheese Fries w/ Jalapeño-Ranch Dressing

PER SERVING (1 skillet): 2,070 calories, 160g fat, 3,730mg sodium, 73g carbs, 8g fiber, 85g protein -- POINTS® value 54*

We’ve seen these before, but Chili's website is still touting these crazy things as as new. Sure this one's meant to be shared, but it's also just a starter. And that's not a typo... it really has 160 grams of fat!!! It's almost as bad as the record-breaking (and scale-breaking) Awesome Blossom when it comes to fatty, high-calorie appetizers. Skip this southern take on french fries, y'all. And keep your eyes peeled for a freakishly good chili cheese fries swap (can you believe the ridiculous version from Chili's doesn't have chili?!?), coming soon from HG.
Dunkin' Donuts - Pumpkin Muffin

PER SERVING (1 muffin): 560 calories, 24g fat, 480mg sodium, 82g carbs, 3g fiber, 44g sugars, 6g protein -- POINTS® value 13*

No one loves pumpkin more than us. When Cinderella's carriage turned into one, we applauded. But this particular pumpkin-flavored muffin is bad news. Well, we're sure it tastes good, but with those stats, you may as well eat a huge honkin' slice of pumpkin pie! Instead of chowing on either of these things, whip up a batch of HG's 80-calorie Peachy Keen Pumpkin Oatmeal Muffins (they're small, but sooooo good).
Sonic Drive-In - Extra-Long Bacon Cheddar Cheesesteak

PER SERVING (1 sandwich): 710 calories, 40g fat, 1,030mg sodium, 52g carbs, 3g fiber, 7g sugars, 35g protein -- POINTS® value 17*

It'd take an extra-long time to burn off all the calories in this limited-time-only fast food flop. Blobs of mayo, oily bacon, too much cheese, greasy onions... sheesh, what didn't they put in this one?!? If you really want to kick a cheesesteak craving to the curb, go for a Lean Cuisine Philly-style Steak & Cheese Panini -- it's got less than half the calories and a teeny-tiny fraction of the fat.
Ruby Tuesday - Carolina Chicken Salad

PER SERVING (1 salad): 1,022 calories, 72g fat, 38g net carbs, 7g fiber -- POINTS® value 26*

When we spotted the stats on this Ruby T salad, we thought about giving up on salads forever. What kind of sick, twisted SALAD packs in 72 grams of fat?!? They've even got the nerve to describe the chicken as "lightly fried". Lightly fried?!? And we're guessing the cheddar cheese, smoked bacon, and sugared nuts didn’t exactly help this salad's cause either. We highly recommend building a guilt-free salad at Ruby's salad bar, and then topping it off with the grilled chicken from the Smart Eating section of their menu. And please forget you ever heard the words "Carolina Chicken Salad".
Arby's - Southwest Egg Roll Minis with Chili-Lime Ranch Dipping Sauce

PER SERVING (8 pieces with 1.5 oz. sauce): 643 calories, 33g fat, 1,078mg sodium, 60g carbs, 5g fiber, 6g sugars, 23g protein -- POINTS® value 14*

You might think these cute little miniature egg rolls are a great way to feed a craving for SW egg rolls. Umm, nope. Luckily, you can indulge in a seriously satisfying serving of HG's Sassy Southwestern Roll-Ups for just 181 cals and 4 and a half fat grams (that includes dipping sauce!!!). Leave the 643-calorie, 33g-of-fat version for the suckers who don't know any better. Ha! (OK, that was mean. Sorry.)
