Spotted on Shelves

Snacky-licious finds from HG...

Itty Packs - If an entire 100-calorie pack seems like WAY too much food,
check these out (okay, we're being sarcastic, but they ARE cute). In Barnum
Animal Crackers (Choco and Original), Mini Nilla Wafers, Mini Honey Teddy
Grahams, Mini Honey Maid Bees, Mini Cheese Nips, and Mini Smilin' Ritz,
most varieties have 80 calories (only the Nips have 90), 2 - 3.5g fat and 0 -
1g fiber per pack (POINTS® value 2*).

Cool Whip Lite in an Aerosol Can - If you like squirting your dessert topping
instead of spooning it and love Cool Whip more than Reddi-wip, you'll be
psyched about the new Cool Whip in a can! Available in 3 varieties (although
not in Free, Cool Whip's fat-free version), the stats on the Lite one are
impressive -- 15 calories and 1g fat for a 2-tbsp. squirt (POINTS® value 0*).

Luna Minis - Ooooh... more tasty small stuff! These li'l Lunas come in all the
best-selling chocolate flavors -- S’mores, Nutz Over Chocolate, and Caramel
Nut Brownie. They've each got 80 calories, 2 - 2.5g fat, 1 - 2g fiber, and a
POINTS® value of 1 - 2*. (The Caramel Nut Brownie is the 1-Pointer!)
Find 'em in multipacks at Target and REI, or click here to buy 'em online!

Father's Day, The HG Way!

Free Yogurt for Dads... YAY! TCBY, The Country's Best Yogurt, is giving all
dads a free cup or cone of their famous fro yo on Father’s Day. Click here to
find a location near you, and then grab your dad and feed him a free frozen
treat! (Pssst... dads LOVE frozen desserts!)

Is Your Dad Buff Enough? The new book Buff Dad is great for dads of all
ages, shapes and sizes. The 4-week plan is easy to follow, so it's great for
super-busy dudes! And the workouts don't require a bunch of fancy
schmancy equipment. Mike, the guy who penned the book, is a dad who lost
over 50 lbs. in 6 months. He's also an RD and a personal trainer. Awesome!

Need More Dad-ish News? Wendy's is running its 2nd annual Father's Day
promotion benefiting children in foster care. During Father's Day weekend,
the fast food chain will donate 50 cents from the sale of every Frosty product
sold at participating locations to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. If
you plan to partake in this, stick with the Junior size. Go, Wendy's!

Stuff You Didn't Know You Needed

Bacon-Flavored Seasoning - Love bacon and salt, but HATE the calories and
sodium the two contain? Bacon Salt may be your dream product. In four
tasty varieties -- Original, Hickory, Peppered, and Natural -- this stuff is
calorie-free, fat-free, vegetarian and kosher. Woohoo!

Frozen Smiles - Bored with regular old ice cubes? Now you can enjoy your
frozen water in large chunks shaped like dentures! We're not sure why these
silly things exist, or who they're for, but we're immature enough to like 'em.

5-in-1-Barbeque Tool - If you LOVE to barbeque, you'll dig this handy
gadget. It's a spatula, with tongs, a bottle opener, a meat tenderizer, and a
knife edge. It's the Swiss Army knife of grilling! Click here to grab one...
they're going fast!

The Buzz...

New research suggests that certain fruits and veggies can help protect your
skin from the harmful effects of the sun. Fruits and vegetables rich in
cartenoids (micronutrients that give certain foods their color and health-
boosting abilities) may help fight premature aging, some cancers and
inflammation of the skin. But don't toss away the sunscreen and simply reach
for a chopped salad instead, peeps. For maximum protection in the sun,
slather yourself in sunscreen with a high SPF... and wear a cute hat!
***Speaking of fruit, a University of Michigan study has found that a diet rich
in cherries could actually help alleviate the pain and swelling associated with
arthritis. Click for more on that. ***Kashi fans -- keep an eye out for a new
line of Pocket Bread sandwiches from our pals over in Kashi-ville. In Turkey
Fiesta, Veggie Medley, and Chicken Rustico, these all-natural sandwiches will
each serve up 4 grams of fiber (plus plenty of protein and whole grains).
They'll hit your grocer's freezer aisle this summer. Woohoo! That's all we've
got. HG out!

HG's MOST WANTED!!! In completely unrelated news, we are sad to report
that SEVEN pairs of pants (and a very cute knit top) owned by HG's Lisa were
mysteriously stolen from a local dry cleaners in Encino, CA. These fancy
pants traveled across the US with Lisa on her book tour and are very special
to her (she is pants-obsessed). The perpetrators smashed the door, ran in,
pretty much TARGETED and grabbed these specific pairs of pants, and then
quickly left -- we find this odd and suspicious. Since John Walsh and the gang
have more important crimes to solve over at America's Most Wanted, we
decided to take matters into our own hands. So CLICK HERE NOW to see the
footage of the actual pants being stolen by the brazen burglars (WARNING:
THE VIDEO IS OF A REAL BREAK-IN!). If you can identify the pants thieves
and help us solve the crime, you'll get FREE VITATOPS FOR THE NEXT TWO
YEARS. This is NOT a joke, people. Help us and get oodles of free guilt-free
snacks. CLICK NOW!!! If you have ANY info that can help us, please send it
ASAP. You can remain anonymous.
