Here's a lesson in everything Wendy's...

Simplified Salads and Standout Dressings

Mandarin Grilled Chicken Salad without Crispy Noodles, No Dressing - 300
calories, 13g fat, 20g carbs, 5g fiber, 29g protein -- POINTS® value 6*

We kept the almonds because, well, we like them, and they're good for you.
This salad is great -- the chicken breast is packed with protein, and the
mandarin oranges give it a sweet, fruity kick! But we recommend you opt for
one of our dressing picks below, not the Oriental Sesame -- a packet of that
sesame stuff has 170 calories and 10g fat (POINTS® value 4*).

Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad with Homestyle Garlic Croutons, No Dressing -
240 calories, 7g fat, 18g carbs, 3g fiber, 29g protein -- POINTS® value 5*

Those kooky Wendy's employees give out TWO packets of dressing for this
salad, and that would add an insane 250 calories and 26g fat (POINTS®
value 7*) to your meal! Bad idea, and just not necessary. If it's gotta be
Caesar, opt for half a packet of the Southwest Caesar Dressing -- only 75
calories and 7.5g fat (POINTS® value 2*). But we say go ahead and treat
yourself to those croutons. Why not? The stats are still great...

Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing - 90 calories, 6g fat, 8g carbs, 0g fiber, 0g
protein (POINTS® value 2*)

It goes with everything! And it's goooood...

Light Classic Ranch Dressing - 90 calories, 8g fat, 4g carbs, 0g fiber, 1g
protein (POINTS® value 2*)

This is the only one of the "Light" dressings that's available at all Wendy's
locations. We love it 'cuz it's dependable!

HG Heads Up! Other good dressings include the Fat Free French (70 calories --
POINTS® value 1*) and the Light Honey Dijon (100 calories, 5g fat --
POINTS® value 2*). But sadly, those are only available at select locations.



Good 'Wiches

Ultimate Chicken Grill Sandwich - 320 calories, 7g fat, 36g carbs, 2g fiber,
28g protein -- POINTS® value 7*

HG Tip! If you want to save 40 calories and 3.5g fat (and knock the
POINTS® value down to 5*), lose the Honey Mustard Sauce. But ordering it
as is isn't a bad choice either!

Grilled Chicken Go Wrap - 260 calories, 11g fat, 23g carbs, 1g fiber, 17g
protein -- POINTS® value 6*

Great stats, but keep in mind that 130 calories and 4g fat come from the
tortilla alone, so there's not much chicken in this thing. Skipping the sauce
OR the cheese will save you 35 calories and 3g fat -- then your wrap would
have a POINTS® value of 5*.

Jr. Hamburger - 220 calories, 8g fat, 26g carbs, 1g fiber, 13g protein --
POINTS® value 5*

If you really want a burger, have this little one along with a healthy side. And
if you just NEED a cheeseburger, know that a slice of the junior-sized queso
adds 40 cals and 3.5g fat, bringing your burger total to a POINTS® value of
6*. Your call.

Double Stack, No Cheese - 320 calories, 14g fat, 26g carbs, 1g fiber, 21g
protein -- POINTS® value 7*

Craving more burger without more bun? Kudos to Wendy's for throwing TWO
Jr. patties on a small bun and putting the thing on their menu. That saves us
a LOT of special ordering!



Hot Potatoes

Broccoli and Cheese Potato - 320 calories, 2g fat, 69g carbs, 8g fiber, 10g
protein -- POINTS® value 6*

WHOA! 2g fat for that potato SMOTHERED in cheese sauce? Sweet! And did
you check out that fiber count? Not too shabby! BTW, this potato is HUGE. So
feel free to load all the broccoli and cheese onto half of the potato, for a total
of only 185 calories and 2g fat (POINTS® value 3*).

Sour Cream and Chives Potato - 320 calories, 4g fat, 63g carbs, 7g fiber, 8g
protein -- POINTS® value 6*

Get this... they use reduced-fat sour cream by default. FANTASTIC! So not
only is it more satisfying than having it with butter, it's actually the smarter
option. And again, most of the calories here come from that huge potato. Use
sour cream and chives on just half of your spud, and you're looking at 185
calories and 4g fat (POINTS® value 3*).



Hey, Side Menu... You're Awesome!

Small Chili - 190 calories, 6g fat, 19g carbs, 5g fiber, 14g protein --
POINTS® value 4*

Love this chili? The large has 280 calories, 9g fat, 29g carbs, 7g fiber, and
21g protein (POINTS® value 6*). That's more of a sandwich-replacer than a
side, though!

Side Salad - 35 calories, 0g fat, 8g carbs, 2g fiber, 1g protein -- POINTS®
value 0*

Not just shredded lettuce, peeps. Iceberg AND romaine, cucumbers, grape
tomatoes, and carrots. Just don't forget to factor in the stats for dressing!

Mandarin Oranges - 80 calories, 0g fat, 19g carbs, 1g fiber, 1g protein --
POINTS® value 1*

Strawberry Yogurt Squeezer - 70 calories, 0.5g fat, 12g carbs, 0g fiber, 2g
protein -- POINTS® value 1*

Low-fat strawberry yogurt in a tube?! Convenient and delicious.

Jr. Frosty - 150 - 160 calories, 4g fat, 26g carbs, 0g fiber, 4g protein --
POINTS® value 3 - 4*

Half the size of the "Small", but that's all you need. We like the vanilla a little
better than the chocolate, and it only has 150 calories and a POINTS® value
of 3*. UM... SO WORTH IT!!!!



Shockers! View B4 U Chew...

Premium Fish Fillet Sandwich - 450 calories, 22g fat, 47g carbs, 1g fiber, 16g
protein -- POINTS® value 11*

Premium, shmemium. This is just like any other fast food fish sandwich -- a
fried fillet slathered with fatty tartar sauce.

Southwest Taco Salad - 640 calories, 39g fat, 44g carbs, 9g fiber, 30g
protein -- POINTS® value 15*

No amount of special ordering can save this sorry salad. Even if you ditch the
tortilla strips, sour cream, AND dressing, you're still left with 400 calories,
22g fat, a POINTS® value of 9*, and the desire to back up through the drive-
thru and return this fast food flub.

Baconator - 830 calories, 51g fat, 35g carbs, 1g fiber, 56g protein --
POINTS® value 21*

We're pretty sure you know that the Baconator is bad for you. This is just in
case you didn't realize quite how bad it actually is...
