Red Lobster's Banana Bay Chocolate Sail Away Smoothie

Not So Smooth

Smoothies typically fall into our "food fakers" category, meaning they sound

like they should be healthy but they're really not. Think about it. The word

smoothie conjures up images of fruit and other natural stuff that's low in

calories, all blended up into a ginormous cup of health. In reality, you get a

scoop of this, a splash of that, and a LOT of fat and sugar. For instance, if

you think you're doing yourself a favor by ordering Red Lobster's Banana

Bay Chocolate Sail Away Smoothie instead of a frozen cocktail, you're only

fooling yourself. That crazy thing has 460 calories and 14g fat -- and it's just

a DRINK. Don't think that other chocolate-banana shakes and smoothies are

much better... they're SO not. Now dust off your blender and get ready for a

super-creamy, choco-rific smoothie surprise. See... we're full of good ideas.

And soon YOU'LL be full of freezy chocolate-banana goodness.
