HG's Just-2-Good Gingersnap Shake

Lookie, Lookie, Here Comes Cookie!
Holiday cookies are amazing, right? Right. (Glad we agree on this.) How can you make them MORE amazing? Put 'em in a milkshake, and make it GUILT-FREE!

1 1/2 tsp. sugar-free French vanilla powdered creamer
1 no-calorie sweetener packet (like Splenda or Truvia)
1 tsp. molasses
1/2 cup light vanilla soymilk
1/4 cup fat-free vanilla ice cream (like Breyers Fat Free)
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. vanilla extract
Dash ground ginger
Dash nutmeg
1 cup crushed ice or 5 - 8 ice cubes
2 ginger snaps (like the kind by Nabisco), crushed
2 tablespoons Fat Free Reddi-wip

In a small bowl, combine powdered creamer with sweetener. Add 1 tbsp. hot water, and stir to dissolve. Add molasses, and stir to dissolve.

Transfer mixture to a blender. Add all remaining ingredients except ginger snaps and Reddi-wip.

Add 3/4ths of the crushed ginger snaps to the blender. Blend at high speed until smooth.

Pour into a tall glass, and top with Reddi-wip. Sprinkle with remaining crushed ginger snaps, and enjoy!

Burger King's Gingerbread Cookie Shake

Run, Run, As Fast As You Can!
As if the holiday season isn't crammed with enough tempting sugary treats, the folks at BK have infused gingerbread flavor into a thick 'n creamy milkshake. And while the combination of ice cream and gingerbread cookies does sound AMAZING, there's one little problem: Even a small one of these shakes has nearly 500 calories and 15g fat. The medium? 640 calories and 18g fat. The large? 810 calories and 21g fat. Sheesh! The craziest thing about these stats is how unnecessarily high they are. Our version of this spiced shake is sooooooo good, and it clocks in with just 184 calories and 4g fat. Sweet! Stock up on the right ingredients, and you'll have no need to hit up Burger King... or to run away screaming. Happy holidays!
