New Denny's Fit Fare Menu Items!
First up, the Breakfast Sandwich Plate: This features an English muffin stacked with turkey bacon, pepper jack cheese, spinach, tomato, and egg. You also get a side of yogurt and fresh fruit. All that for 550 calories and 12g fat, not to mention 28g protein (PointsPlus® value 10*). Also new is the Baja Skillet: potatoes, squash, zucchini, and egg whites, topped off with cheese, avocado, and pico de gallo. This has 500 calories and 27g fat, plus 8g fiber (PointsPlus® value 13*). To save some fat, go with either the cheese or the avocado. (Our pick? The avocado!) Heads up: Not every Fit Fare menu item is low in calories -- some are simply high in protein or fiber. (Case in point? This turkey burger we made over.) Always check the stats!

Panera Hidden Menu Power Bowls
Two Panera Bread Hidden Menu Items Move to the Regular Menu!
Ever since the TERRIFIC hidden Power Menu items launched, we've been wondering when they'd be added to the menu boards. This is a good start! The Power Breakfast Egg White Bowl with Roasted Turkey (170 calories, 4.5g fat, PointsPlus® value 4*) and Power Chicken Hummus Bowl (330 calories, 14g fat, PointsPlus® value 8*) are officially making the leap to the regular menu, but reportedly just for a limited time. We hope they stay! Check out our Panera Bread Survival Guide for more GREAT ordering info.

Applebee's Salmon and Steak... Guilt-Free!
Check out the new Savory Cedar Salmon on the Under 550 Calories menu: grilled salmon, spring veggies, steamed potatoes... Consider us IMPRESSED. The meal has 520 calories and 28g fat (PointsPlus® value 14*). Not bad for a fish dish that's packed with healthy fats. We're also going gaga over the Roma Pepper Steak. This one's on the Weight Watchers menu, and it comes with potatoes and a stuffed portabella mushroom! All for 510 calories and a PointsPlus® value of 13. The fat's a little high (27g), but if you wanna treat yourself, this is the way to do it.

Jack in the Box's Egg White & Turkey Breakfast Sandwich
Jack in the Box's Egg White & Turkey Sandwich!
Look out, McDonald's and Subway. JITB has jumped on the fast-food egg-white-sandwich bandwagon. This one has grilled turkey, sliced tomato, and American cheese in addition to the egg-white patty. And it's on a hamburger bun, which is fun. It's got 248 calories and 6g fat (PointsPlus® value 6*). Not bad! Pssst... El Pollo Loco's New "5 Under 500 Calories" Menu!
If you're lucky enough to live near an EPL location, get excited, because this new menu is VERY promising. There's the Mango Taco Plate: a huge taco stuffed with chicken, veggies, and mango salsa that's paired with an avocado side salad -- before the dressing, it's got 310 calories and 11g fat (PointsPlus® value 8*). NICE. Then there's the Avocado Salad: greens topped with broccoli, black beans, cotija cheese, chicken, and (of course) avocado. That has 290 calories and 10g fat (PointsPlus® value 7*) before dressing. Get the Low Fat Citrus Vinaigrette on the side, and DDP (dip, don't pour!). And the Black Bean Bowl is loaded with black beans, avocado, broccoli, chicken, and cotija cheese, all for 380 calories and 11g fat (PointsPlus® value 9*). Click for more menu info!

Get it on the new multigrain flatbread, and it'll have 310 calories and 9g fat (PointsPlus® value 8*). And get this: You can order any Dunkin' Donuts b-fast sandwich on the new multigrain flatbread. We'll be ordering up a Veggie Egg White Omelet on it, for 280 calories and 10g fat (PointsPlus® value 7*). Way to go, double D! By the way, if there's no Dunkin' Donuts in your vicinity, whip up our Cheesy Veggie-Boosted B-fast Sandwich with a multigrain 100-calorie flat sandwich bun!

Boston Market's "Meals Under 550 Calories" Combos!
Boston Market is the kind of place where you can end up with either a really smart meal or a total calorie-fest based on a few snap decisions. Well, the rotisserie chain is taking some of the guesswork out of the ordering process. This new menu features a slew of combos you can create that'll result in a meal with fewer than 550 calories. Like turkey with green beans and sweet corn for 410 calories (PointsPlus® value 11*). Or a Market Bowl with skinless chicken breast, mashed potatoes, sweet corn, and poultry gravy for 500 calories (PointsPlus® value 13*). P.S. If the cornbread isn't officially part of the combo but it shows up with your order, know that those calories haven't been factored into the total. Click here for the full list of combos! There's also a nutrition calculator on the site where you can tally up full stats. Nice!
