Al Fresco All Natural Gourmet Chicken Grillers - Just in time for grilling season, Al Fresco's debuting frozen chicken burgers, and they sound phenomenal. In Sweet Italian Style, Caramelized Onion, and Buffalo & Blue Cheese, each patty has 140 - 160 calories, 8g fat, 500 - 850mg sodium, 1 - 3g carbs, 0g fiber, 0 - 2g sugars, and 16 - 17g protein (PointsPlus® value 4*). Pre-seasoned burgers = less need for fatty add-ons. Score! Rolling out nationwide. P.S. There are refrigerated chicken burgers too, and those ROCK.
Good Food Made Simple Breakfast in a Bowl - Oooh... These all-natural morning meals are crammed with egg whites, veggies, cheese, and (sometimes) meat. Choose from Southwestern Veggies, Uncured Bacon & Turkey Sausage, Uncured Canadian Bacon, and Chicken Apple Sausage. Each bowl has 210 - 270 calories, 9 - 15g fat, 320 - 690mg sodium, 13 - 18g carbs, 1 - 3g fiber, 3g sugars, and 14 - 21g protein (PointsPlus® value 5 - 7*). New Seasonal Salad Finds at Chain Restaurants!

BBQ Chicken Salad - The ABP peeps sure know what we like. This new salad has BBQ chicken, roasted corn, and a three-cheddar blend. Before dressing, it's got 280 calories and 7g fat (PointsPlus® value 7*). The Lite Ranch has 120 calories and 11g fat, but that's for 2 full ounces -- dip, don't pour, and use sparingly!
Fresh Fruit & Baby Kale Salad - Fruitylicious, to the max! Baby kale (read: more tender than regular kale) is loaded up with watermelon, strawberries, and mandarin orange segments, plus feta and almonds. Sans dressing, it has 260 calories and 13g fat (PointsPlus® value 7*). The Balsamic Vinaigrette adds 110 calories and 9g fat, but you'll only need half of it, at the most.
Thai Shrimp Salad - This newbie has shrimp, edamame, almonds, peanut sauce, crispy wonton strips, and a chili lime vinaigrette. Yum! All that for 390 calories and 21g fat (PointsPlus® value 10*). We're willing to bet passing on the wontons will shave off a sizable amount of fat and calories...
Strawberry & Avocado Salad - Ripe strawberries, avocado, and chicken breast over romaine and arugula? WOWOWOW! This salad has 480 calories and 27g fat (PointsPlus® value 13*), however those numbers include chili lime vinaigrette. Stats for the dressing alone aren't available, but we'll definitely be saving calories by getting it on the side and using just a bit.
Baskin-Robbins has apparently caved to peer pressure and added trendy Greek frozen yogurt to the BRight Choices lineup! We're not complaining, since it sounds great: Super Yumberry, featuring a "super fruit Triple Berry ribbon." With just 130 calories per 2.5-oz. scoop, we'll have our little pink spoons ready. ***Move over, coconut water. The next big thing appears to be MAPLE water. No, it's not syrupy or sticky... Maple water is what you get when maple trees are tapped. With a slightly sweet taste, an 8-oz. serving has around 20 calories and 4 grams of sugar. A few to look out for? Vertical Water, Seva, and DRINK maple. We're intrigued... ***Wanna nosh on teeny tiny apples throughout the day? Give Rockit apples a try! Each one is slightly bigger than a golf ball, and they come in cylindrical packs (a la tennis balls). Cool! ***Uh-oh... There's officially a shortage of limes. Cold weather and drought conditions have left a slimmer than usual lime crop. If you're looking for a shortcut and a way around pricey limes, grab some True Lime, a.k.a. crystallized lime for drinks, recipes, and more. ***Good news for vegetarians on the go... Subway is reportedly testing out hummus as a sandwich topping! Make your veggie subs more filling with a small amount of the stuff. The chain is also said to be trying out thinner slices of meat -- orders have the same amount of meat, just sliced more finely. We're down with that -- it'll go further on our salads.
