Ready for recipes to help you chill out? (When it's this hot, our pun humor is questionable.) Peel yourself off your office chair, couch, or whatever surface you're currently stuck to, and make a smoothie!



Apple Cinnamon Smoothie
Entire recipe: 163 calories, 1.5g fat, 101mg sodium, 28g carbs, 3g fiber, 21.5g sugars, 10g protein – PointsPlus® value 4*

This blended beverage is really special -- mellow, sweet, creamy, and unique... You've gotta try it to truly appreciate it!

Prep: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
1 cup peeled and chopped Fuji apple
3/4 cup light vanilla soymilk
1/4 cup fat-free vanilla Greek yogurt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. vanilla extract
1 no-calorie sweetener packet (like Splenda or Truvia)
1 cup crushed ice or 5 - 8 ice cubes

Directions:
Place all ingredients in a blender, and blend at high speed until smooth. Mmmm!

MAKES 1 SERVING




Virgin Raspberry Piña Colada
Entire recipe: 197 calories, 1g fat, 96mg sodium, 40g carbs, 4g fiber, 30g sugars, 5.5g protein – PointsPlus® value 5*

Get the taste of a tropical drink with a low calorie count... Bonus? It's beautiful!

Prep: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
2 tsp. fat-free nondairy powdered creamer
1 no-calorie sweetener packet (like Splenda or Truvia)
1/2 cup light vanilla soymilk
1/2 cup frozen unsweetened raspberries, partially thawed
1/3 cup fat-free vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt
1/3 cup canned crushed pineapple (not drained)
1/8 tsp. coconut extract
1 1/2 cups crushed ice or 8 - 12 ice cubes

Directions:
In a very tall glass, combine creamer with sweetener. Add 2 tbsp. hot water, and stir to dissolve.

Transfer mixture to a blender. Add all remaining ingredients, and blend at high speed until smooth, stopping and stirring if needed. Pour and enjoy!
