Super Bowl Sunday is this weekend! Whether you're hosting a party or attending someone else's, here are two stellar contributions that no one will suspect are guilt-free...


Sriracha Mini Meatballs
1/8th of recipe (3 meatballs in sauce): 115 calories, 2.5g fat, 350mg sodium, 9g carbs, <0.5g fiber, 6.5g sugars, 12g protein -- PointsPlus® value 3*

Sweet 'n spicy li'l balls of meat are just what you need to fuel your at-home cheering section. Hopefully the competition will be just as hot...

Prep: 15 minutes
Cook: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
Meatballs
1 lb. extra-lean ground beef (4% fat or less), or HG Alternative
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 tbsp. egg whites or fat-free liquid egg substitute (like Egg Beaters Original)
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder

Sauce
1/2 cup reduced-sugar grape jelly
1/3 cup Sriracha sauce

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray.

In a large bowl, thoroughly mix meatball ingredients. Firmly and evenly form into 24 meatballs, and place them on the baking sheet, evenly spaced.

Bake for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, clean the large bowl. Add sauce ingredients, and stir until uniform.

Gently flip meatballs. Bake until cooked through, about 5 minutes.

Add meatballs to the large bowl, and gently toss to coat.

MAKES 8 SERVINGS

HG Alternative: If made with lean ground turkey (7% fat or less) instead of extra-lean ground beef, each serving will have 123 calories, 4g fat, 360mg sodium, and 11.5g protein (PointsPlus® value 3*).




BBQ Chicken Dip
1/15th of recipe (about 1/4 cup): 98 calories, 4.5g fat, 335mg sodium, 4.5g carbs, 0g fiber, 3g sugars, 9.5g protein -- PointsPlus® value 3*

This is like the sassy kid sister of our classic Buff Chick Hot Wing Dip. (But who are we kidding? You should probably make both.)

Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 5 minutes or less

Ingredients:
One 8-oz. tub reduced-fat cream cheese
1/2 cup plain fat-free Greek yogurt
1/2 cup BBQ sauce with 45 calories or less per 2-tbsp. serving
Two 10-oz. cans (or 9.75-oz cans) 98% fat-free chunk white chicken breast in water, drained and flaked
1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
1/2 cup chopped scallions
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
Optional topping: additional scallions

Directions:
In a large microwave-safe bowl, stir cream cheese until smooth. Add yogurt and BBQ sauce, and stir until uniform.

Add remaining ingredients, and mix until uniform. Cover and microwave for 2 minutes.

Stir and microwave for 1 more minute, or until hot.

MAKES 15 SERVINGS
