Summer's here, so it's time for fruity frozen drinks! Grab your paper umbrellas, and leave the extra sugary calories behind…

Just Peachy Margaritas
1/2 of recipe (about 10 oz.): 150 calories, 0g total fat (0g sat fat), 1mg sodium, 14g carbs, 2g fiber, 9g sugars, 0.5g protein -- PointsPlus® value 5* -- SmartPoints® value 6*

Frozen peaches add the perfect texture and flavor to blended drinks! How are we just coming up with this recipe now?

Prep: 5 minutes


1 1/2 cups frozen unsweetened peach slices, slightly thawed

3 oz. tequila

1 tbsp. lime juice

3 no-calorie sweetener packets (like Truvia)

1 cup crushed ice or 5 - 8 ice cubes 

Place all ingredients in a blender. Add 1/2 cup cold water, and blend until smooth.


Strawberry Frojitos
1/2 of recipe (about 10 oz.): 164 calories, 0g total fat (0g sat fat), 2mg sodium, 18.5g carbs, 3g fiber, 8g sugars, 0.5g protein -- PointsPlus® value 6* -- SmartPoints® value 6*

Another addition to our line of frozen mojito recipes, these red-berry drinks are mind-meltingly delicious...

Prep: 5 minutes

10 mint leaves

2 limes, quartered, for a total of 8 wedges

3 no-calorie sweetener packets (like Truvia)

2 cups frozen unsweetened strawberries, slightly thawed

3 oz. rum

1 1/2 cups crushed ice or 8 - 12 ice cubes

In a glass, combine 5 mint leaves, 2 lime wedges, and 1 1/2 packets of sweetener. Repeat in another glass. Muddle (a.k.a. mash) the contents of each glass.

To a blender, add strawberries, rum, ice, and 2 tbsp. water. Squeeze the juice from the remaining lime wedges into the blender. (Discard these wedges.)
 Blend at high speed until smooth. (If needed, turn off the blender, stir, and blend again.) 

Transfer strawberry mixture to the glasses, and stir well.
