HG’s Don't Be Chicken Sandwich

Slim Chickens
In this corner...weighing in at a respectably low 250 calories and 7.5 grams
of fat… it’s HG's super-crispy, totally juicy, mega-mouthwatering and
toasty… Don't Be Chicken Sandwich!!! With less than half the calories and a
quarter the fat of its horrendously greasy competitor, this sandwich is a
guaranteed winner. What’s the secret? This chick-wich stays light on its feet
with a crispy golden veggie patty that’ll have everyone fooled. That means
no chickens were harmed in the making of this sandwich. And it packs a one-
two punch with fat-free mayo and reduced-calorie buns of steel (ok, maybe
they're not actually made of steel, but buns of flour didn't sound as
impressive). Don't be chicken...whip one of these babies up ASAP!

1 Wonder Light Hamburger Bun (or another light bun)
1 Morningstar Farms Chik Patty, Original
1 tbsp. fat-free mayonnaise
1 thick slice of tomato
1 large lettuce leaf

Link to buy Chik Patty:

Split hamburger bun in half and toast. Microwave Chik Patty for one minute
on each side. Place patty on bottom half of bun and spread on your
mayo. Add tomato and lettuce, and cover with your toasty bun top!

Dairy Queen’s Crispy Chicken Sandwich

Fatty Patty
Hey, DQ...are you KIDDING us? Your Crispy Chicken Sandwich is an
embarrassing, thoughtless display of disrespect for humans (and chickens)
everywhere. Okay, we’ll admit it…a crunchy, breaded chicken fillet topped
with creamy mayo on a toasty bun is sort of tempting…but not when it packs
in practically the same amount of calories and fat as a bacon double
cheeseburger (yes, we said DOUBLE). Be warned. Waltzing into your local
DQ thinking a "chicken" sandwich is a healthier choice = a very bad idea.
This fatty nightmare of a meal is no match for HG's Don't Be Chicken
Sandwich. Try one of those instead.

Today, October 10th, is National Angel Food Cake Day. If you're going to
celebrate, be careful. Angel food cake has less fat than most other cakes
(and is often fat free), but it can still pack in lots of calories if you overdo it.
