Every now and then we like to spring some super-secret hush-hush food
finds on you. Here are some of the latest and greatest from HG...

Anisi Low-Fat Chocolate Filled Wafer Thins
(1 wafer - 90 calories, 0.5g fat, 20mg sodium, 21g carbs, 0g fiber, 5g sugars,
1g protein = 2 Points)

We've gotta be honest here. The thing that made us jump-up-and-down
excited about these wafer cookies is their size. Imagine a steering wheel.
OK, maybe not the steering wheel of your car, but rather a steering wheel of
the bumper cars you drive at the local amusement park. That's how large
these things are!!! And we're not sure about you, but whenever we see a
sweet, crunchy treat that's huge and has just 90 calories, we FREAK OUT (in
a good way). Now that we've got that part out of the way, here's more
info. "Mama Anisi" created these thin treats over 80 years ago, and since
then they've been VERY popular with a very select, local crowd. And now HG
is doing what we can to spread the word about these honey-filled crispy
treats so the rest of the world can enjoy them, too. While we prefer the
chocolate-filled ones, the regular honey ones are really good as well. Curious
as to what they taste like? They're a lot like super-flat wafer cones with a
thin layer of chocolatey honey in the middle. Nothing super-fancy or overly
sweet -- just a nice cookie-like snack that can be enjoyed anytime. We think
you'll dig 'em!

Mr. Krispers Baked Rice Krisps - Sour Cream & Onion
(37 chips - 110 calories, 3.5g fat, 360mg sodium, 19g carbs, 1g fiber, 2g
sugars, 2g protein = 2 Points)

That Mr. Krispers sure has a handle on the whole snack chip thing. His Sour
Cream & Onion Baked Rice Krisps may be the most addictive chips we've
ever tried. And we're not sure we're happy about that. Sure there are 37
baked, whole grain chips to a serving. And those 37 insanely delicious chips
only add up to 110 calories and 3.5 grams of fat. But we have to be honest,
it's not easy to stop at 37. We sorta kinda want to eat the entire bag (which
they say has 148 chips). So keep that in mind, and if you decide to buy 'em,
make sure you have lots of pals around when you open the bag. By the way,
we were so caught up in the taste and nutritional info we forgot to mention
that they're gluten free, cholesterol free, and saturated fat free. Oh, and they
also come in a slew of other flavors. Mr. Krispers, um, we love you.

Vitasoy Chocolate Banana Soymilk
(8 oz. - 130 calories, 4g fat, 150mg sodium, 21g carbs, 1g fiber, 20g sugars,
4g protein = 3 Points)

Those geniuses over at Vitasoy sure know their way around filtered water
and organic soybeans (FYI, those are the two main ingredients in soymilk
and that was our lame attempt at a joke). You may remember how we
FLIPPED over Vitasoy's holiday flavors (Holly Nog and Chocolate
Peppermint)... well this summer they're back with yet another off-the-charts
delicious beverage -- Chocolate Banana! This stuff is slightly higher in
calories than many of the other drinkables we push, but a little goes a long
way -- and even a half a cup of the stuff is enough to rock your face off! Try
spiking your iced coffee with an ounce or two of it, or using it to make
yummy cocoa-banana smoothies. We are in love! Heads up -- we hear this is
a limited-edition flavor that will disappear after the summer, so you may
want to stock up now. The good news is the shelf-stable packaging ensures
that your stash will last for a looong time! Click here to see where Vitasoy is
sold in your neck of the woods.
