Spotted on Shelves...

Barry's Bakery Mini Peaks Tubs - Hey, meringue-lovers... check this out. You

can eat 100 of these adorable little melt-in-your-mouth treats for just 100

calories. That's ONE itty-bitty calorie per cookie (for those of you who aren't

so good with math). And they come in different flavors and all sorts of

beauteous colors! We've mentioned these before, but now they're in new

tubs, so here they are again. Weeeee!

Tastykake 100 Calorie Cookie Sticks - Tastykake is super-famous in parts of

the U.S., but virtually unknown in other parts of the country. Now their 100-

calorie cookie bars (in fudge, chocolate chip, and oatmeal raisin) are

catching the attention of people all across the nation. Don't know where or

how to find these kooky Cookie Sticks? Click here to order select flavors

McCormick Seafood Steamers - OK, these ROCK. In Lemon Garlic and Garlic

Butter, these pouches make it super-simple to turn a boring fish dish into

something FABULOUS. And they have just 25 - 40 calories per serving.

The Scariest Breakfast in the World

With Halloween just a week away, we thought it might be an appropriate time

to warn you about one of the most FREAKISHLY FRIGHTENING breakfasts

we've ever seen. Hardee's (known for horrendously fattening fast food) has

introduced the Country Breakfast Burrito. It certainly sounds innocent

enough (almost dainty in a way, no?), but this massive loser of a morning

meal consists of TWO (yeah, um, two!) egg omelettes stuffed with bacon,

ham, sausage and cheddar cheese, plus hash browns, MORE cheese, and

gravy -- all crammed into a ginormous flour tortilla. That crazy AM wrap

clocks in at 920 calories and 60 grams of fat!!! Sheesh... what's next? A

humungous biscuit stuffed with sour cream, ribs and cheesecake? For some

decadent b-fast choices that are actually sensible, click here, here, or here.

Stuff You Didn't Know You Didn't Needed...

Skull Cupcakes, Anyone? - Oooooh, if you order NOW, you may be able to

get this creepy pan in time for Halloween. If you use Vitalicious brownie and

chocolate muffin mixes, at least the nutritionals won't be scary. Guilt-free

skull cupcakes are COOL!

Perfect Pasta Portions - Need a little help figuring out how much pasta is in a

serving (or 2, 3 or 4 servings)? This handy little spaghetti doser will help you

cook EXACTLY the right amount. Don't be surprised when you see how few

strands are in a serving though (it's a little depressing).

Sayonara, Soggy Cereal - This Eatmecrunchy cereal bowl is designed to

keep your cereal from getting all mushy. It releases the milk slowly, as you

eat, so it doesn't completely drown your flakes (or puffs, or squares, etc.).

Cute, but we kinda like our cereal a little on the soggy side. Maybe that

makes us weird... FYI, this British bowl comes to about 8 bucks plus

The Buzz...

Guess what?! We've heard rumors from VERY reliable sources that Starbucks

will introduce a SUGAR-FREE Gingerbread Latte this year. Expect it to start

popping up within a month or so. Yay! ***Healthy coffee?! The world's first

folic-acid-fortified coffee is on the way, peeps! SPAVA, a gourmet coffee line

sold in select markets across the U.S., will be adding folic acid to their entire

line of "wellness" coffee. The aim of the coffee line is to improve physical and

mental health, memory, immunity, metabolism, and more. Click here for the

full 411! ***Keep an eye out for South Beach Diet branded vending

machines that'll be packed with all sorts of better-for-you snacks from Kraft.

Soon you may be able to nab Crystal Light, Sugar Free Jell-O, and South

Beach Diet Wraps from your friendly neighborhood vending machines. How

cool is that?! ***More cartoony veggies, fruits, and other nutritious sides are

on the way, in an effort to keep kids chewing healthy stuff. This time it'll be

Mickey, Pluto, Donald and Goofy who'll appear on packages of Disney

Garden foods. We've seen what these packs will look like, and they're pretty

cute & creative -- Mickey-shaped bowls, lots of different food combos, etc.

VERY cool! That's all we've got. HG out!
