WEEKLY WEIGH-IN

OooohÂ…new stuff! We chewed, and now we're telling...

Sport Beans, Energizing Jelly Beans, Fruit Punch
(1 package: 100 calories, 0g fat, 80mg sodium, 25g carbs, 0g fiber, 19g
sugars, 0g protein = 2 Points)

Ok, we have no idea whether or not these beans from the makers of Jelly
Belly really prep you for a workout (you're supposed to eat 'em 30 minutes
before exercising) and we really couldn't care less. We're not pro athletes or
people who workout vigorously for hours on end. But we do like jelly beans.
And these babies ROCK. Slightly larger than regular Jelly Bellys, these beans
are INSANELY fruit punchy -- the intense flavor alone is enough to energize
you. Each 1-oz. mini pack has 14 JBs inside for 100 calories. It's really the
perfect amount of candy 'cuz you're left feeling completely satisfied yet not
overly full. And even though the sugar content is VERY high, you can get rid
of some of the guilt by reminding yourself that these beans are infused with
vitamins B & C.

Overall Score: 7.5. They taste great and are pretty unique, but they ARE
candy so we don't recommend adding them into regular rotation.

Disney Breakfast PizzOmelette, Double Cheese
(1 PizzOmelette: 140 calories, 7g fat, 490mg sodium, 6g carbs, 0g fiber, 3g
sugars, 13g protein = 3 Points)

We know this is made for and marketed towards kids, but we can't tell you
how excited we were to find this in the freezer aisle of our local Wal-Mart
Supercenter. Not because we're in need of healthier breakfasts for kids
(though there is a shortage of those for sure!), but simply because now we
have an excuse to eat pizza for breakfast! The idea is genius. Take an egg
white pizza-shaped crust, smother it with tomato sauce and a low-fat soy/
cheese blend, and voila -- you have a 140-calorie, super-delicious, fast, guilt-
free breakfast. It looks and tastes like pizza, and it cooks in your microwave
in under two minutes. Kids, shmids -- YOU will love this!

Overall Score: 9.5. We're HUGE babies. What can we say?

Hostess 100 Calorie Packs
(1 pack: 100 calories, 3g fat, 100 - 150mg sodium, 19 - 22g carbs, 3 - 5g
fiber, 10 - 11g sugars, 2g protein = 1 - 2 Points)

Wow! We were totally shocked (pleasantly, of course) when we came face to
face with a ginormous display of 100-calorie packs of Hostess cupcakes at
the market the other day. So we snapped up all three flavors (carrot
cake/cream cheese frosting, yellow cake/chocolate frosting, and chocolate
cake/chocolate frosting) and rushed home to try them. These things are
cute, for sure. And they're all creme-filled (an added bonus!). They're
basically mini versions of Hostess frosted cupcakes that come three (teeny
tiny cupcakes!) to a pack and taste pretty much like you'd expect them to. In
all honesty, we're not crazy about the yellow or carrot cake versions --
they're too sweet. But the chocolate ones (with just 1 Point a pack!) are
pretty tasty; the cake is super-chocolatey and the icing doesn't disappoint.
We just wish they had the famous Hostess CupCake squiggle on top, but
they don't. Oh well.

Overall Score: 8. But only for the chocolate ones. The others don't rate
nearly as high.

Coke Cherry Zero
(1 can: 0 calories, 0g fat, 40mg sodium, 0g carbs, 0g sugars, 0g fiber, 0g
protein = 0 Points)

We love Coke Zero so much! That's why we did a little happy dance when we
learned that this cherry version of Coke Zero was on the way. And that
dance turned into a full on jig when we actually tasted it. This soda is
phenomenal. Just like regular Coke Zero, there's no weird aftertaste, and the
cherry and cola flavors work REALLY well together. It doesn't taste fake or
overly sweet -- it's PERFECT. We think anyone who likes cherry cola (and
some people who don't!) will flip for it!

Overall Score: 9. A fizzy-good time!
