Look who's getting cozy this holiday season! We played matchmaker in our
kitchen, and the results are delicious...

Pop-up shocker! A Tall Salted Caramel Signature Hot Chocolate at Starbucks
(made with fat-free milk and NO whipped cream!) contains 400 calories and
15g fat (POINTS® value 8*). ACK! We have to admit, however, that caramel
and cocoa make one steamy couple. Luckily, you can enjoy the combination
without spending a ridiculous amount of calories and fat. Just whip up a cup
of our favorite cocoa according to the package directions (with 6 oz. water),
and stir in a tablespoon of the gooey caramel. So good and SO low in
calories!
Athens Mini Fillo Shells + Snickers
PER SERVING (2 Snickers-filled shells): 91 calories, 4.75g fat, 53mg sodium,
11g carbs, <0.5g fiber, 6g sugars, <1g protein -- POINTS® value 2*
Yup, you read that right. We're actually advocating the purchase of a
Snickers bar. But don't bite straight into it. Instead, get the standard 2.1-oz.
bar and slice it in half lengthwise. Then cut each half into 5 "nuggets". Set out
10 of those frozen fillo shells and pop a chocolate nugget into each one.
Place them on a baking sheet, bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 350
degrees, and then let those babies cool. Now you've got yourself 10 itty-bitty
Snickers pies! And they are INSANELY DELICIOUS. Chew two of 'em for less
than 100 calories. We recommend whipping up a few batches of these treats
for an upcoming New Year's bash. Trust us, they'll be gone long before
midnight.
Jell-O Sugar Free Vanilla Pudding Snack + Ginger Snaps
PER SERVING (1 pudding snack with 2 cookies): 120 calories, 2g fat, 285mg
sodium, 24.5g carbs, 0g fiber, 5.5g sugars, 1.5g protein -- POINTS® value 3*
Forget plum pudding... we're all about ginger-cookie-infused pudding snacks!
Simply spoon your vanilla pudding into a cute dessert dish, crush up a couple
of ginger snaps (placing them in a baggie and smashing 'em with a rolling pin
or can does the trick), and then sprinkle the cookie crumbs on top. Yum! This
is a far better way to get your gingerbread fix than, say, devouring the roof
off a gingerbread house. Mmmm, ginger snaps and pudding. Here's to the
happy (and yummy) couple!

Yowza. These two have been checking each other out since the pie was first
developed back in '07! And while our pumpkin pie has been pretty exclusive
with whipped cream for a while now, it's almost 2009 and time for that pie to
play the field. So enjoy a slice of it topped with a scoop of Breyers' creamy
frozen vanilla goodness. So good it'll make your head spin!
