So Delicious Dairy Free Non-Dairy Dessert Bars, Creamy Orange

Wow. We just tasted these and had to write about 'em ASAP! They are SO

creamy and SO delicious (as the name implies), and they clock in at a mere

80 calories. AMAZING! Soy-enthusiasts and dairy-avoiders will definitely

appreciate this find (as will everyone else). We feel suddenly compelled to

run out and try the Creamy Raspberry version as well. Pssst... Find these at

natural foods stores (like Whole Foods) and select supermarkets.

No Sugar Added Creamsicles, Orange

You read that right. TWO POPS per serving. SCORE! The Creamsicle brand

also makes these delicious treats in Regular, Low Fat, and Sugar Free

versions, but we think the No Sugar Added pops are the way to go. You'll

also get some Cherry and Mixed Berry pops in the box, to which we say, the

more, the merrier!













Dreyer's/Edy's Snack Size Fruit Bars, Orange & Cream

PER SERVING (1 bar): 45 calories, 0.5g fat, 15mg sodium, 9g carbs, 0g fiber,

We LOVE Dreyer's/Edy's, and these light-ice-cream-filled, orange-coated

Fruit Bars are just one more reason to feel all warm and fuzzy about D/E.

BTW, the other flavors that come in the pack are Raspberry & Cream and

Lime & Cream. Both excellent! And in case you're interested in a larger pop

(and you don't want other fruits infringing on your quality time with orange),

Healthy Choice is all over the lunch/dinner game, but don't forget that the

brand also has its toe in the dessert pool. (Sorry for the foot reference in a

food review!) A box of these includes swirl-icious raspberry bars as well.

Weight Watchers GIANT Sorbet & Ice Cream Bars, Orange

PER SERVING (1 bar): 110 calories, 0.5g fat, 45mg sodium, 28g carbs, 3g

Notice that the word "GIANT" is in all caps? That's no misnomer, people!

These are nice, large bars of creamy goodness. And much like other

orange/cream bars, these Creamsicle-wannabes roll with a berry-based

sidekick: Wildberry. While that sounds like a lot of fun (and it is tasty!), our

hearts belong to Orange.













Scoopable Creamsicle Crush Pie





PER SERVING (1/8th of dessert, about 2/3 cup): 112 calories, 0.5g fat,

284mg sodium, 25g carbs, 0.5g fiber, 15.5g sugars, 3g protein -- POINTS®

value 2*



This recipe's big enough to share with a crowd... but we understand if you

don't want to!



Ingredients:

Two 10.5-oz. cans mandarin orange segments in juice (not drained)

1 large (6-serving) package fat-free sugar-free vanilla instant pudding mix


2 cups fat-free vanilla yogurt

1 cup Cool Whip Free, thawed

10 Reduced Fat Nilla Wafers, crushed

Optional Topping: Fat Free Reddi-wip



Directions:

Pour the juice from the oranges into a medium bowl. Add pudding mix,

yogurt, and Cool Whip, and mix until uniform and free of lumps. Set aside.



Place 8 orange segments in a dish, to be used for topping, and refrigerate.

Roughly chop all the remaining oranges, and gently mix them into the

pudding mixture.



Pour contents of the bowl into a medium dish or large pie pan. Refrigerate

for at least 1 hour, or until ready to serve.



Just before serving, sprinkle crushed Nilla Wafers over the majority of the

top of the dish, leaving a circle in the center. Arrange reserved orange

segments decoratively in the circle. If you like, finish off each serving with a

dollop of Reddi-wip. Enjoy!
