***ATTENTION TEXT-ONLY HG SUBSCRIBERS (this means YOU!): Since only
a tiny fraction of our audience receives our emails in text-only form, and the
emails look so much better designed in HTML, we have decided to stop
sending out the text-only versions of Hungry Girl newsletters. This change
will happen in the very near future. Keep an eye out for the HTML versions in
your inbox... coming soon!***

and has 90 calories, 5g fat, 390mg sodium, 7g carbs, 5g fiber, <1g sugars,
and 9g protein (POINTS® value 1*). Click here to track 'em down!

Blue Bunny Personals All Natural Frozen Yogurt, White Chocolate Raspberry -
We LOVE Blue Bunny's guilt-free frozen treats, so we had to give a shout-out
to the brand's new line of fro yo in mini cartons. There are other fun flavors --
Double Raspberry, Bordeaux Cherry Chocolate, and Caramel Praline
Crunch -- but this INSANELY DELICIOUS one is getting the major love today.
A 1/2-cup serving has 120 calories, 3g fat, 55mg sodium, 22g carbs, 3g
fiber, 18g sugars, and 4g protein (POINTS® value 2*). Heads up: There are
TWO servings per Personals container. Click here to locate, and hop to it!
(Get it? Bunny? Hop? Never mind.)

Dr. Kracker Flatbreads - If you like your snacks big and crunchy, these

How Now, Laughing Cow?! BREAKING CHEESE NEWS!!!

We mentioned last week that three new flavors of The Laughing Cow Light
cheese wedges were soon to come... and now we've got the FULL 411. Put on
your cheese hats, and prepare for good news! The new flavors are...
drumroll, please... Blue Cheese, Queso Fresco & Chipotle, and Mozzarella,
Sun-Dried Tomato & Basil!!! (That's one exclam for each new cheese.) There
are no words to describe how RIDICULOUSLY FANTASTIC these 35-calorie
wedges taste... We can't even pick a favorite! We're beyond ecstatic and
have already begun to create new recipes with 'em. Start looking for these in
June alongside the rest of the LC cheese wheels (sometimes stocked with the
gourmet cheese or near the crackers). Then you can join in our crazy Cow-
themed celebration. Moo with us, people! MOOOOOO!!!

Fast Food 411: New Stuff Popping Up at Popular Chains

Jack in the Box has released a slew of "grilled" items, some HG-friendly and
some not. The Chicken Fajita Pita isn't bad at all, with 326 calories and 10g
fat (POINTS® value 7*). And the cheese-topped Grilled Chicken Salad is
impressive with only 251 calories and 9g fat (POINTS® value 5*), not
including the dressing and croutons that come on the side. But don't be
fooled by Jack's Grilled Sandwiches -- with 600+ calories and about 30 fat
grams, they're as fattening as some of the burgers. Speaking of burger
joints, McDonald's is testing out oatmeal in select regions, like Northern CA,
as well as Real Fruit Smoothies in Vancouver, where Olympics attendees got
a sneak sip. Those smoothies are scheduled for a summer rollout in the
States, and the fate of the oatmeal is yet to be determined. We're eager to
see the official stats on those items. And finally, Jamba Juice has branched
out of the cold-drinks-only game and launched hot chocolate and tea lattes.
A 12-oz. Classic Hot Chocolate made with nonfat milk has 220 calories and
1.5g fat (POINTS® value 4*), and a 12-oz. tea latte with nonfat milk has
150 - 170 cals and 0 - 1g fat (POINTS® value 3*). Mmmmm! Just beware of
Jamba's soymilk, which can cause fat grams to rise kinda quickly in those hot
drinks.

The Buzz...

RECALL ALERT! A flavor enhancer used in many processed foods has been
recalled due to salmonella. No illnesses have been reported, but the list of
products being called back is growing rapidly. Brands with select recalled
items include T. Marzetti (veggie dips), Trader Joe's (dressing/dip),
McCormick (dip mixes and stuffing), and Hawaiian (chips). CLICK HERE for a
complete list of products, and do NOT consume them. ***Let's change the
subject, shall we? Ever dream of putting unique items on a sandwich... things
like grapes, spaghetti sauce, or chocolate chips? Wonder Bread's website
now has a feature allowing you to build a fantasy 'wich, AND it'll reveal the
calorie count of your creation. There are also fun facts and tips for boosting
certain nutrients. (Need iron? Add liverwurst! ACK! Never mind.) Make a
normal sammy (there are plenty of normal items) or see just HOW horrifying
a peanut butter/fig bar/candy corn sandwich would be... from the safety of
your computer chair! ***Need more energy in your life? Check out Healthy
To Go! nutrient-packed drink mix packets. They taste pretty good (much
better than some similar items we've tried), and each flavor offers a different
nutritional perk. Nice! ***Wish that your apple slicer offered more options?
Try out this contraption -- the Dial-a-Slice Fruit Corer and Wedger has two
settings, giving you either eight or sixteen perfectly uniform, coreless fruit
segments. YAY! ***And topping the list of our favorite things this week...
limited-edition retro General Mills cereal boxes at Target! There are FIVE
kinds in all, including Lucky Charms and Trix. SO CUTE. (And while cute
cereals are often sweet, they're typically fairly low in the calories and fat
departments, so a cup here and there likely isn't a problem.) That's all we've
got. HG out!
