Ingredients:
Meatballs
1 lb. raw extra-lean ground beef (4% fat or less)
1/2 cup thinly sliced scallions
2 tbsp. fat-free liquid egg substitute (like Egg Beaters Original)
1 tbsp. reduced-sodium/lite soy sauce
2 tsp. chopped garlic
1 1/2 tsp. chopped ginger
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
Sauce
1/4 cup Asian-style chili garlic sauce
2 tbsp. seasoned rice vinegar
1 1/2 tbsp. hoisin sauce
2 tsp. brown sugar (not packed)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick spray.
Thoroughly mix meatball ingredients in a large bowl. Firmly and evenly form into 24 meatballs, and place them on the baking sheet, evenly spaced.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Gently flip meatballs. Bake until cooked through, about 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, place sauce ingredients in another large bowl, and whisk until uniform.
Add cooked meatballs to the sauce in the large bowl, and gently toss to coat. Enjoy!
