Weight Watchers Jalapeño String Cheese - Like Donna Summer once sang, we're lookin' for some hot stuff, baby. (Yes, we know the song probably wasn't written about spicy cheese.) This light cheese stick has a bit of a kick, and we like it! Each piece has 50 calories, 2.5g fat, 200mg sodium, <1g carbs, 0g fiber, 0g sugars, and 6g protein (PointsPlus® value 1). Look for it with the other refrigerated cheese snacks at the supermarket.

Supermarket FYI: HG Favorites Get Package Updates!

The world is an ever-changing place, people. And while these beloved products themselves haven't changed, the names and packaging have. Here's the 411 so you know what to look for... Our favorite Boca burgers -- previously called Boca Original Vegan Meatless Burgers -- now go by the name Boca Original Vegan Veggie Burgers. Thankfully, the essentials (taste, nutritional info, official PointsPlus® value of 2) remain the same! Also noteworthy, Everybody's Nuts! Pistachios are now in limited distribution (bummer!), but the rockin' Sweet Chili and Salt & Pepper 'stachios will be widely distributed under the Wonderful Pistachios name (yay!). And in case you hadn't already heard, Quaker Quakes Rice Snacks (those yummy mini rice cakes) are now called Quaker Popped Rice Snacks (not to be confused with the new Quaker Popped Chips!). Check out the image to your right to view the updated packages for each of these items. Then hit the supermarket, you!

Exciting New Fro Yo Finds!

Thanks to the beauty of indoor heating, we can enjoy frozen yogurt even during times of inclement weather. Check out the newest options out there...

TCBY Limited-Time-Only Flavors - These decadent flavors are making us very happy! Nonfat Brownie Batter fro yo was introduced this month, and 97% fat-free Wedding Cake flavor is on the way. Cool stuff, TCBY!

Pinkberry Grapefruit - Grapefruit is the latest flavor in P-berry's frozen yogurt lineup, with a pretty pink hue and fresh 'n fruity taste. There are also two new toppings: fresh grapefruit pieces and a low-calorie grapefruit basil puree. These sound great, but getting them all in one cup might be overkill!

Ben & Jerry's Liz Lemon Greek Frozen Yogurt - To honor the end of 30 Rock's seven-season run, Ben & Jerry announced this new commemorative flavor. Liz Lemon sounds tasty (lemon Greek fro yo with a blueberry-lavender swirl) and the stats are decent (180 calories and 4.5g fat, plus 6g protein). But we can't help thinking that the flavor is HARDLY something that junk-food-loving Liz would eat. (P.S. We refer to Liz Lemon as that other LL.) This fro yo is rolling out now... Click to locate!

New Flavors! Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt Bars - We've been fans of these bars for a couple of years now, and we were thrilled to see (and taste!) the new flavors -- Vanilla Bean, Mango (our favorite), and Coconut. Each bar has 80 calories and 0 - 0.5g fat, plus 6 - 7g protein (PointsPlus® value 2*). Click to find!

The Buzz...

Happy almost Valentine's Day! Celebrate early by joining a fun chat with Hungry Girl Lisa over on StarKist's Facebook page this Wednesday! She'll be gabbing (er, typing) about products and recipes that she LOVES, including StarKist tuna pouches (certified by the American Heart Association). Check it out Wednesday, 2/13, at 2 p.m. EST/11 a.m. PST, and bring any questions you've got for HG. ***ACK! It's been discovered that horsemeat was mixed into beef from a supplier that provided meat for Burger King restaurants in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Denmark. BK was quick to point out that the contaminated product was never sold in its restaurants and has since severed ties with the supplier. In related news, Ireland's agriculture minister has confirmed that 75 percent horse DNA was recently found in a raw material ingredient from another supplier, Rangeland Foods, the self-described number-one producer of beef burgers in Ireland. And most recently, a Swedish food company recalled frozen beef lasagna after tests showed it contained -- you guessed it -- horsemeat. Oh, did we mention? ACK! ***Let's talk about something FAR more positive, shall we? Meet Amber -- she's nine years old and has an online cooking show geared toward getting kids into cooking and healthy eating. We think Amber is super cool (and we're a little envious of that pink-collared chef's jacket). Check out Cook with Amber, especially if you know some kids who might be into helping out in the kitchen! ***Which would be harder for you to give up: Facebook or pizza? According to a recent survey, more people would have trouble shaking their pizza cravings than their Facebook habit. The survey was commissioned by (shocker) Sbarro, in connection with its new Skinny Slice (270 calories). And that's all we've got. HG out!

Today, February 11th, is National Peppermint Patty Day. Rather than dress up as the Peanuts character, we suggest celebrating with a York Snack Size Peppermint Pattie -- just 60 calories and 1g fat!
