If you want a simple grilled chicken sandwich piled high with veggies, this is the way to do it. Skipping the margarine on the bun more than cuts the fat count in half! BTW: Keeping the pickles won't affect the calorie and fat counts, but it will hike up the sodium to 982mg.

Confession time: While we're fans of seasoning and pickles, those two add MAJOR sodium. Keep 'em if you like, but consider yourself warned. That said, we love that Red Robin offers TWO meatless burger patties, one of 'em vegan. So slim things down, HG-style, and gobble up!

Bunless Grilled Turkey Burger with Extra Lettuce and BBQ Bourbon Sauce Instead of Chipotle Aioli

The turkey patty itself is a little hefty -- 255 calories and 16g fat -- which is why we suggest going bun-free. The boozy BBQ sauce and bonus lettuce will keep things satisfying!

How bad can the regular beef burgers be? Here are the Red Robin burgers with over 1,000 calories each (and this is JUST for the burgers, without sides): Black & Bleu, Banzai, D.G.B., All-American Patty Melt, Royal Red Robin, Bleu Ribbon, A.1. Peppercorn, Whiskey River BBQ, and Prime Chophouse. And each of those has 58 - 89g fat! YIKES.

Sides, Sides, Sides... The burger and sandwich stats don't include any side dishes. Skip the fries, onion rings, and other obviously fatty foods in favor of steamed broccoli, southwest black beans, freckled fruit salad, or mandarin oranges. Mmmm!

Who needs croutons when you've got garlic bread and shredded cheddar? (Yup, the bread 'n cheese are factored into the numbers above!) These salad stats don't include dressing, but we've got a suggestion: Request fire-roasted salsa instead. That'll only add about 10 tiny calories (and no fat). If you'd rather have actual dressing, get the balsamic vinaigrette on the side and dip, don't pour -- the full serving has 120 calories and 10g fat.

Southwest Grilled Chicken Salad without Fried Jalapeño, Cheese, and Dressing

Fried jalapeño rings? Pass. We'll happily enjoy the ancho chicken, Baja veggies, avocado, tortilla strips, and southwest black beans. A squeeze of lime finishes it all off. Delish!
