There are a lot of food staples we use regularly here at the HG HQ, but some are so multi-talented that we decided to dub them MVPs! Here's our TOP ATE list of products that are workin' overtime for us!
1. Mann's Sunny Shores Broccoli Cole Slaw

PER SERVING (1 cup): 25 calories, 0g fat, 25mg sodium, 5g carbs, 3g fiber, 2g sugars, 2g protein -- POINTS® value 0*

Oh, broccoli slaw. We've loved you since 2005. As big fans of veggies and bigger fans of not having to shred them ourselves, we use this sauceless slaw mix for everything. Stir-fry it Asian-style, serve it pasta-like with tomato sauce or even tomato soup (try it with #5 on this list!), mix it with tuna... the choices are endless. Really! P.S. Check out its colorful sister slaw, Rainbow Salad -- just as delicious, and pretty, too!

There is no time of day we won't eat this creamy yogurt -- breakfast, lunch, snack-time, dessert, whenever. It's like a blank canvas, just waiting for you to turn it into something beautiful (and delicious). Add sugar-free preserves, fruit (fresh, frozen, or freeze-dried), or spices (for a zesty, creamy dip). Or use it straight as a sour cream substitute. Bonus: This stuff is PACKED with protein.

This new seam-free, ready-to-go refrigerated dough is great to have around. It's actually Reduced Fat Crescent Roll dough in disguise! Bake little squares of it and load 'em up as hors d'oeuvres, roll it up pinwheel-style around your favorite things, make edible bowls by baking sections of it in a muffin pan, etc. Get creative! And don't worry... you still get to pop it open by smashing the tube against the counter. Weeeee!

PER SERVING (1/2 cup): 60 calories, 1g fat, 105mg sodium, 25g carbs, 14g fiber, 0g sugars, 2g protein -- POINTS® value 0*

Diehard fans are well aware of the love affair between F1 and HG. But for all the new kids out there, here's a quick refresher course. Fiber One is a delicious, crazy-high-in-fiber cereal that we like to play around with. We mix it with yogurt, fruit, and other cereals to make parfaits, snack mixes, and more. We grind it up into "breadcrumbs" for our famous faux-frying technique (click & scroll for more on that) and our special high-fiber pie crust. Basically, there's very little we won't do with this breakfast cereal.

5. Amy's Organic Light in Sodium Chunky Tomato Bisque

PER SERVING (1 cup): 120 calories, 3.5g fat, 340mg sodium, 21g carbs, 2g fiber, 14g sugars, 2g protein -- POINTS® value 2*

This is hands-down the BEST canned tomato soup EVER. It's FANTASTIC all alone, but we also like to throw in seafood, ground-beef-style soy crumbles, Frank's RedHot, chicken chunks, fresh basil leaves, and/or reduced-fat Parm-style grated topping. This soup also doubles as a creamy, slightly sweet tomato sauce for veggies, chicken breasts, and pizza-inspired items. And it is INCREDIBLE stir-fried with broccoli slaw. (Try it and see... PLEASE!)

Pudding mix isn't just for pudding anymore. We use the powdered stuff to thicken up and add flavor to SO many things -- from shakes and oatmeal to dips and desserts. Yup, we're "pudding" it in EVERYTHING. Tee-hee...

We've told you this a bazillion times, these things are life-changing. Learn to love them, people. The key to Tofu Shirataki success is to rinse well, dry REALLY well, and stick with creamy sauces rather than watery ones. Other than that, sky's the limit! Stir-frys, casseroles, soups, and even crab cakes are in these noodles' repertoire. Have fun!
