smart cookie.  A new study suggests that women who skip morning meals are likely to eat more throughout the day and develop higher
cholesterol.  They are also less sensitive to insulin, and as a result,
could be more susceptible to developing diabetes.  Though breakfast-skipping has become more common in recent years due to busier schedules, researchers insist it can lead to weight gain and health risks.  (No, this doesn't mean your should start your day with a french toast and sausage combo platter.  Sheesh.)

Hotel Chains Get Fit!

If you blame your lack of exercise on the fact that you travel a lot,
your one-time valid excuse is about to come to an end.  Hotel chains like Marriott and Hilton have started to offer in-room fitness options.  Check into a Hilton and you'll have your very own yoga mat and free weights.  Stay at a Marriott and find resistance tubes, plus a video with aerobic exercises and strength training.  Sheratons now offer yoga and other exercise routines via the hotel TV channel.  So, what are they planning to do about those fat & calorie-packed mini-bars?

Are you a wrap fan?  (We mean the rolled up sandwiches, not Eminem.)  In any case, here's some news for you.  Our friends at Gardenburger (innovators in the "meatless meals" category) are releasing vegetarian wraps.  The new line will launch with two kinds, Black Bean Chipotle and Sun-Dried Tomato & Basil.  Each is completely natural and has just 240 calories, 7g of fat, and 7g of fiber.  Look for these new hand-held meals on shelves this Spring.
