Eat it! Wear It!
Chocolate Cosmetics Make it Easier for You to Fudge Your Age
As you probably know, chocolate is packed with antioxidants and is good for your heart. Now, in addition to eating chocolate, you'll be encouraged to rub it all over your face and body, as cosmetics companies like Origins and Bath & Bodyworks are filling the market with cocoa-infused creams and lotions. Their claim is that these choco-rific products will help make your skin softer, smoother and younger looking. Now, before you go smearing snickers bars all over your face, you should know that there's little proof to back up these theories. Oh well. At least these new chocolate-infused products don't have any calories.
Grapefruits Make Women Seem Younger...
In our strangest news item of the week, it has come to our attention that grapefruits may make women "seem" younger. In a bizarre study where middle-aged women were smeared with everything from broccoli and bananas, to spearmint leaves and grapefruits, only the grapefruit scent had an effect on men. During the study, men guessed that the grapefruit-doused women were much younger than they actually were. Grapefruits, as you know, are also rumored to burn fat. Wow! A fruit that tastes great, helps burn fat and makes you seem years younger? We're officially declaring these things our citrusy new best friends!

Snapple on Ice: Hit or Mess?
Snapple's PR Stunt Suffers Major Meltdown
Snapple's new "Snapple in Ice" popsicles have launched. To celebrate, the company attempted to break the record for the world's largest ice pop by erecting a 25 foot tall 17.5 ton frozen treat in the middle of Manhattan last week. Snapple expected to wow crowds of people in Union Square and serve their new 40-calorie Snapple on Ice pops as everyone "oohed" and "aaahed." What they didn't expect was for the 80 degree heat to melt their gargantuan diet-friendly icy treat and flood surrounding streets with sticky, kiwi-strawberry goo. Passers-by were slipping and sliding in the melty glop but no serious injuries were reported. Snapple had to call off the stunt before the entire pop was actually assembled. That's what we call a flopsicle!
