Honey Nut Cheerios
Honey Nut Cheerios

Cheerios are a filling and satisfying start to any day.  A retro fave from way back, these sweet, crunchy O's are adored by both kids and adults. While all varieties of Cheerios are good, we say the best Cheerios, by far, are the Honey Nut ones.  These circles of toasted whole grain goodness are full of the deliciously addicting taste of honey and nuts.  And with just 120 calories per seving, Cheerios are perfect as a quick and easy breakfast or a portable snack.  Just pour some in a bowl and cover with fat free milk, or measure out a serving and toss it into a baggie for a great on-the-go treat.  No matter how or where you enjoy them, these honeylicious O's are definitely buzz-worthy.

Honey Nut Clusters

You'd expect sweet-sounding cereals like Cookie Crisp, Trix and Count Chocula to be full of calories, carbs and sugar.  Surprisingly though, General Mills' healthier sounding Honey Nut Clusters cereal has more calories, carbs, and grams of sugar than all three of them. This mixture of honey-flavored flakes and oat clusters is crunchy and sweet, but so not worth the 210 calories, 46 carbs, and 17 grams of sugar that are found in each cup.  Especially since Honey Nut Cheerios actually taste better.  Frankly, we think you'd have to be, well, nuts, to choose these high cal, clunky clusters over Cheerios.

Honey Nut Cheerios were introduced in 1979, and were the first Cheerios spin-off.
