McDonald's Filet-O-Fish Sandwich |

Filet-O-Miss! |
Remember the days when everyone thought the fish sandwich was the "healthy" choice on the fast-food menu? Yeah right. Ugh... just looking at the nutritionals for McDonald's Filet-O-Fish makes us queasy. 380 calories and 18g of fat for a SMALL fish sandwich?! Count us out! By smothering that fried filet in fatty tartar sauce and sticking it on a doughy bun with cheese, your innocent fish has turned into a saturated-fat-infested (4g!), nearly 400-calorie mess. Eeeek! And that's without fries and a soda. That poor fish -- and the poor humans who ingest it! Our advice? Skip this sad seafood sandwich and make your own version at home for fewer calories and fat grams. Sorry Ronald... there are other fish in the sea. |
