Choco-licious
We have good news and bad news for you. First the bad. There is no Miss Meringue. The cute little lady you imagined baking all those delicious diet-friendly cookies doesn't exist. In reality, she is a "he" -- a french pastry chef named Jacques Pautrat. Get over it. All Miss Meringues cookies are great, but we especially love the Very Chocolate Minis. Creamy and crunchy (it may take a while to get used to to the texture), these calorie-friendly chocolatey treats are satisfying and yummy. This is without a doubt one of the best ways to torpedo a chocolate craving if you're counting calories & fat.

Double Trouble
We know it's not really fair to compare a double fudge creme sandwich cookie to a meringue, but we're doing it anyway. Why? To make a point. Two small double fudge cookies contain 180 calories and 9 grams of fat. That's 90 calories for each cookie! Think about it... each single cookie has more calories than 13 mini meringues. "Mother" needs to be spanked! Don't be one of her unfortunate (and flabby) victims. Save those calories for when you visit home and your own mother pushes some of her goodies on you -- They're much better than store-bought cookies anyhow.
