Bacon time is the best time... And that time is NOW. Pull out your grill pan, and put on your party hat, because it's about to get extremely delicious in your kitchen. (Party hat optional.)
Ingredients:
3 slices center-cut bacon or turkey bacon
2 slices light bread
1 tbsp. fat-free mayonnaise
2 dashes garlic powder
2 dashes onion powder
1 leaf romaine lettuce
2 large slices tomato
2 tsp. light whipped butter or light buttery spread (like Brummel & Brown)
Directions:
Cook bacon until crispy, either in a skillet over medium heat or on a microwave-safe plate in the microwave. (See package for cook time.)
Lay bread slices flat, and spread both with mayo. Sprinkle with garlic powder and onion powder. Top one slice with lettuce, tomato, and bacon. Top with the other bread slice, mayo side down. Spread the top of the sandwich with 1 tsp. butter.
Bring a grill pan (or skillet) sprayed with nonstick spray to medium-high heat. Carefully place sandwich in the skillet, buttered side down. Spread the top with remaining 1 tsp. butter.
Cook until bread is lightly browned, about 2 minutes per side, flipping carefully. Tasty!
