Who doesn't want a guilt-free milkshake that tastes like peanut butter? It's as desirable as a kitten that sings like Beyoncé. (Think about it.) But unlike that mythical fur-ball, we can actually make the tasty shake a reality, thanks to our latest slimmed-down recipe swap!

Prep: 5 minutes


2 tbsp. powdered peanut butter (click for the 411)
2/3 cup plus 1 tbsp. light vanilla soymilk
1/4 cup light vanilla ice cream
1/3 cup low-fat peanut butter flavored cereal (like Jif Peanut Butter Cereal)
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
1 packet no-calorie sweetener (like Splenda or Truvia)
3/4 cup crushed ice or 4 - 6 ice cubes
2 tbsp. Fat Free Reddi-wip
1 maraschino cherry

Place powdered peanut butter in a small bowl. Add 1 tbsp. soymilk, and mix until smooth and uniform.

Transfer mixture to a blender. Add ice cream, cereal, vanilla extract, sweetener, and remaining 2/3 cup soymilk.

Add ice, and blend at high speed until smooth.

Pour into a tall glass, and top with Reddi-wip and cherry. Enjoy!

PB milkshakes are everywhere. Sonic Drive-In has a slew of 'em, including the now departed Peanut Butter Cookie Milkshake that inspired today's swap. Now, when it comes to traditional shakes, they're pretty much all bad news, due to hefty amounts of full-fat ice cream, milk, and whipped cream, not to mention loads of sugar. Throw fatty peanut butter into the equation, and the stage is set for a calorie-fest of epic proportions. Unless, of course, you use our Creamy PB Shake recipe. We stripped the original inspirational shake at Sonic of its excess fatty calories, and all that remains is super-tasty goodness. The combination of the cereal and the powdered peanut butter results in major PB flavor. So shake it up, you! No time like the present...
