Can something be "hot" and "cool" at the same time? Yes, but we're not

talking about Johnny Depp. (Well, not right now anyway.) We're talking about

our new summer couples... WOOHOO!!!





Breyers Double Churn Free Creamy Vanilla Fat Free Ice Cream + Rice

Krispies Treats Original Bar = Krazy Cool Krispie Cream Sandwich



PER SERVING (2 tbsp. ice cream + 1 ready-to-eat bar): 112 calories, 2.5g

fat, 117mg sodium, 22g carbs, 0.75g fiber, 10g sugars, 1g protein --

We're always looking to hook up favorites of ours -- frankly, we can't believe

this one took us so long to think up. Simply slice a Rice Krispies Treats bar in

half to make 2 wide, thin bars. Spoon your ice cream evenly on top of one

half, and gently place the other half on top to form a sandwich. If you like,

place it in the freezer for a few minutes to firm up... or just eat it as is! BTW,

2 tbsp. of ice cream may not seem like a lot, but it is the PERFECT amount

for this snack and you'll actually be able to open your mouth wide enough to

take a bite.







Triple Chocolate Chunk VitaTop + Reduced-Fat Peanut Butter = "Top That!"

Freezy Vita



PER SERVING (1 VitaTop + 1 tbsp. peanut butter): 196 calories, 7.5g fat,

258mg sodium, 30g carbs, 6g fiber, 11.5g sugars, 7g protein -- POINTS®

This couldn't get much easier. Don't bother thawing your Vita -- leave it

frozen. Then just spread the peanut butter on top and dig right in! It tastes

AWESOME and has a REALLY GREAT texture. And on a summer day, it's just

the kind of cool 'n easy snack you need. BTW, you can use pretty much any

chocolatey variety of VitaTop! And you if use Better'n Peanut Butter (which is

very low in fat) instead of regular reduced-fat PB, this treat will only contain

150 calories and 2.75g fat (POINTS® value 2*). Wow.







Dreyer's/Edy's Limited Edition Slow Churned S'mores Light Ice Cream + Low-

Fat Honey Graham Crackers = Super S'more-wich



PER SERVING (1/4 cup ice cream + 1 sheet graham crackers): 130 calories,

3.25g fat, 125mg sodium, 23g carbs, 0.5g fiber, 12g sugars, 2.5g protein --

Face it: It's just too hot out to toast marshmallows. But that doesn't mean

s'mores are out of the question. Take your sheet of graham and crack it into

two squares. Carefully spread the ice cream on top of one of the squares

and top it off sandwich-style with the other graham. Freeze for about 15

minutes, if you like, or just accept the fact that some of the ice cream is

gonna ooze out the sides, and get down with your messy snack!

This is our new obsession! Blend this combo up using your Magic Bullet or

blender. You can play around with the fruit-to-juice ratio a little bit, but we

like ours at a spoonable, soft consistency. (Like an Icee!) Once you taste this

blended deliciousness, you'll want to have it every day! P.S. If you can't find

V8 V-Fusion Light, use Diet V8 Splash instead.







Yoplait Light Fat Free Apple Turnover Yogurt + Cool Whip Free = Crazy-

Creamy Apple Freeze



PER SERVING (One 6-oz. container yogurt + 1/2 cup whipped topping): 160

calories, 1g fat, 105mg sodium, 31g carbs, 0g fiber, 18g sugars, 5g protein --

POINTS® value 3*



This little experiment turned out SOOOO good. Think of it as a DIY frozen

dessert. Just mix the yogurt and Cool Whip Free together and freeze for

about two hours, until solid. Grab a spoon and dig in! It might seem a little

icy at first, but it's delicious! We think it tastes like crustless apple pie a la

mode.
