This Week's 3 Things to Know

Massive survey shows the real number of calories in Americans' coffee cups.

Most people don't put much thought into their daily java. They just fuel up and go. But if you're adding sugar, creamer, and/or other ingredients, those calories add up! Researchers reviewed 12 years of data and found that Americans consumed an average of 69 calories per coffee and 43 more calories per cup of tea when they used add-ins. Not terrible, but you can do better! Check out our best tips for DIY hot drinks, and remember to keep track of those extra calories.

Amazon reveals its best-selling snack brands!

We're big fans of both Amazon and snacking, so we were excited to see which snack companies reign supreme for the online retailer. And the fab five are... Nature Valley, Clif, Kind, Smartfood, and Gerber Graduates. Our snack picks from these brands? Nature Valley Protein Chewy Bars, Clif Kid ZBars (perfectly sized!), Pressed by Kind Bars (love the new Strawberry Apple Chia flavor), Smartfood Delight, and Gerber Graduates Yogurt Melts (don't judge; they're good!).

We reviewed the Instant Pot. Next up: the AIR FRYER!

After receiving countless requests for the 411 on the Instant Pot, we picked one up, experimented, and reported back with the full scoop. Check out our findings here, and stay tuned for recipes. Now, our inbox is ablaze with air fryer inquiries. (Supposedly, air fryers give us the ability to create decadent fried foods with hardly any fat!) Message received. We ordered this one from Amazon, and we'll be reporting back soon with all the deets. Stay tuned!
