How to save an order confirmation or online recipt as a PDF or JPEG
On a Mac...
Any webpage or email that can be printed can easily be turned into a PDF.Step 1: Choose Print from the File menu or hit command-P.
Step 2: When the Print box comes up, click the PDF button. If you do not see a PDF button, click Destination and choose it from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Choose Save or Save as PDF.
Step 4: If prompted, give the PDF a name, choose a location to save it, and click Save.
Step 5: Locate the file on your hard drive.
You can save any PDF as a JPEG by opening it in Preview, choosing Save As from the File menu, and changing the format to JPEG.
Using Windows...
If you have Adobe Acrobat Distiller, any webpage or email that can be printed can easily be turned into a PDF.Step 1: Choose Print from the File menu or hit ctrl+p.
Step 2: When the Print box comes up, select the PDF Writer Option.
Step 3: If prompted, give the PDF a name, and choose a location to save it. Click Save.
Step 4: Locate the file on your hard drive.
You can easily make a JPEG of anything on your screen.
Step 1: Position the information you want to turn into a JPEG so that it is ALL visible on your screen. If you have to scroll to get to some of the info, that information won't be captured. Make sure ALL of the necessary information is displayed on your screen.
Step 2: Click on the window you want to capture.
Step 3: Press ALT+PRINT SCREEN (or PRTSC). This will capture the image in the active window. If you do not hold down ALT, it will take a screen capture of your entire display.
Step 4: Open Paint from the All Programs area in the Start Menu.
Step 5: Click the Paste button or Choose Edit and then Paste.
Step 6: Choose File and then Save As. Change the format to JPEG. Name the file, choose a location to save it, and click Save.
Step 7: Locate the file on your hard drive.
