Quest Hero Protein Bars

1 bar: 170 - 200 calories, 7 - 11g total fat (6 - 7g sat. fat), 190 - 230mg sodium, 27 - 30g carbs, 10 - 11g fiber, 12 - 13g sugars, 15 - 17g protein -- SmartPoints® value 7 - 8*

We recently tasted these new bars live on Facebook, and we're officially fans! Chewy, crunchy, layered, and coated, the candy-like protein bars come in Blueberry Cobbler, Vanilla Caramel, and Chocolate Caramel Pecan. Lisa's favorites are the caramel varieties, but they're all really great. Buy them online or wherever Quest bars are sold.

Baker Josef's (Trader Joe's) Coffee Flour

1 tbsp.: 35 calories, 0g total fat (0g sat. fat), 0mg sodium, 7g carbs, 6g fiber, 0g sugars, 1g protein -- SmartPoints® value 1*

Made from dried and ground coffee fruit, this flour is totally unique! We tested it by replacing some of the whole-wheat flour in a cake recipe, and the results were great! A little more dense than normal, but it added a rich mocha flavor. Try some in your favorite baked goodies. It's loaded with fiber... Six grams per TABLESPOON. Find it at Trader Joe's.

Nabisco Chips Ahoy! THINS

4 cookies: 140 - 150 calories, 6 - 7g total fat (2.5 sat. fat), 50 - 65mg sodium, 21g carbs, 0 - 1g fiber, 12 - 13g sugars, 1g protein -- SmartPoints® value 6 - 7*

Oreo THINS aren't the only skinny cookies in town! These are so good, even people who don't care for regular Chips Ahoy! may fall for them. We sure did! In Original, Oatmeal, Double Chocolate, and Cinnamon Sugar (with white chocolate chips!), find them in stores nationwide.

This Week's 3 Things to Know...

Eating late at night may be worse than you think.

We hate to bring down the party, but this bummerific study needs to be shared. You've probably heard recommendations to avoid late-night eating, but new research has found that the habit can lead to weight gain as well as elevated insulin and cholesterol levels. If you're the type who tries to save your calories for late-night splurges, you might want to reconsider...

Social jet lag: It's real and it probably affects you.

In today's round of "Issues You Didn't Realize You Had," we just learned about social jet lag. While the term is new to us, the definition sounds all too familiar: "when you go to bed and wake up later on weekends than during the week." So, what's the big deal? The aftershock from social jet lag can include long-term effects like increased risk of heart disease. Let's just say the overall message of this week's news is "eat early, sleep early, be healthy."
